    Hi diamondK your telling me thats awful have just been on hold for almost 1 and and half hours to fraud line who confirm that it is not them I need to speak to but disputes, as I had given out my card details I confirmed that the money was not pending y'day and that I was advised not to close account as the pending funds had bounced back and there was NO other pending items on account????if I had closed the account as I had intended and been advised not too I would not in this situation and potentially out of pocket looks like I will have to worry overnight again until i can speak to somebody tomorrow.

    this is outrageous, make a complaint in branch and report your bank to the financial ombudsman 0800 023 4567, its very quick and easy and the highest you can go with regards to complaining. All is not lost however, as apparently once the money has left your account you can still try to get this money back via a chargeback, speak to the retailer disputes line, for visa debit this is 0845 366 0391, banks fraud helplines are no use whatsoever, they are only interested if you paid on a credit card. for any one else in this situation CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT, i know this is a pain but the only way to prevent them taking the cash

    via the email address [EMAIL="mail@nhsdiscountsdaily.com"]mail@nhsdiscountsdaily.com[/EMAIL] and via the online form on the site threatening them with police and action fraud (i have filed reports with both). im not sure this has enabled my refund however because although they did respond they refunded me via credits to my nhs discounts account, which i believe are totally redundant because the site is fraudulant. im not sure what i now have (i.e. full funds back in my account) is a "refund" from nhs discounts as such, simply a drop off of what was a pending payment. thankfully now i have cancelled my account there is no way they can take this money. i suggest closing your account asap

  • Having kept my fingers crossed all week that the payment would stay pending, I have logged int his morning and the payment as been taken. I did speak to the disputes team yesterday and the advice they gave me was to sit tight and if no goods were received within 28 days they would pursue for me. They did say not to try and cancel as this makes the charge back procedure more complicated.

    I have emailed the site this morning asking them for an expected delivery date (ha ha as if thats going to happen) and this is the response I got

  • Also tried the contact number the bank gave me for the merchant 01895 876500 again this morning and it actually rang out and said the office was closed till 9 on Monday. Will definately be trying then.

  • i also ordered an iPad on mon night, I went into my bank yesterday and no payments where taken or pending so I felt a huge sigh of relief , I cancelled my card last night to be on the safe side...... However like others I logged on this morning and low and behold the money has gone!
    I paid on a debit card so I will go and see the bank on mon and see if there's anything I can do to get my money back..... From the above posts there doesn't seem to be much point in emailing the site!!!

  • like everyone else i have checked the bank today, only to discover the money has now been taken. this despite me cancelling my card after the payment stopped being pending. Contacted the bank and they advised it could go to dispute team early (usually you have to wait 15 days) if i had a letter from the liquidators, i tried to contact them on a number that appears earlier on the thread however i had no success. Can anyone advise me if they have a number available for me to contact them?
    also i noticed someone talking about the bank dispute letter they had used - checked the action fraud site but wasnt able to see any templates - can anyone help with this?
