OK, i paid by debit card, i have cancelled my card but the bank says there is no point closing account while payment still pending as it will be classed as a payment anyway. So back to hoping that the 7 day refund guarantee will work. i will contact the visa debit dispute team at 8am on monday to try to reverse the payment. fingers crossed.0

Hi DiamondK exactly the same as me the payment has gone I have to now wait 15 business days and if the products do not turn up (very likely looking at above) then the bank can do charge back, they confirm that under visa rules (i also used debit card) they have to allow the company 15 business days to allow delivery after then they can get back funds I also asked even if the company goes into liquidation to which they confirmed they can still claim back. The thing that annoyed me with this whole fiasco (apart from the fact that I have likely been duped and feel very silly) is the fact that all the times I calledthe bank (at least 8times) I was given different and conflicting information some bank staff confirmed payemnt would NOT go through and there was no pending payments on account then one stated to cancel account whilst the next person I spoke to stated to leave it???? Once this whole thing is sorted which will hopefully be very soon and with a very happy outcome I will be writing to my bank to complain and suggest they do some retraining in order for ALL staff to sign from the same hymn sheet as it were. did you guys also tell the bank that nhsdiscountsdaily dont actually supply or send the items (see their Ts & Cs) they simply provide you with a coupon (sign in and under your name look under my coupons - there will probs be a coupon sat there for an ipad but there is no way of downloading or using this)?
all you can do is stick with it and wait the 15 days and then file for a chargeback, but as stated above nhsdiscountsdaily never claim they would send you the item (all in the fine print of course and all this despite the fact we all paid shipping charges)!!0 -

i dont actually believe it!!..... having closed my account yesterday and all funds having been sent to another account, today i have logged onto my online banking where the closed account is still visible and seen it is minus £260.99!!!!!!!!!!!
i will be down the bank asap monday as i cannot believe i sat with the branch manager and closed the account whilst there were no pending payments and now they have allowed a transaction. i see this as thier problem not mine as the account was closed and authorised by thier manager - you can bet the bank wont see it this way however!!!!!:mad:
i too have had an email stating i will get a refund but i hold no hope what so ever that this will be actioned after all ive been through with this stupid fraudulant website0 -

Go back to the begining... you authorised the payment.
You are saying they are not going to deliver.
You have to wait a reasonable time to allow them time to deliver.
You cannot arbitarily say "I don't think they are going to deliver".
Your bank will sort your "unauthorised overdraft" out on Monday.
There are lots of posts stating that closing bank accounts, cancelling cards, etc, does not remove the your responsibility to pay the money that you have agreed to pay NHSwhatever.0 -
double check your nhsdiscountsdaily online account balance under my info as i also had this email and they had refunded me via credits to thier fraudulant website which is a complete waste of time
My balance in this section is 0. The first email I received stated that funds would be refunded via payment method so hopefully credit card!0
