    Voda's ICS?

    Have you got "Enable always-on mobile data" on?

    The data enabled switch just turns the thing on or off generally, 'enable always-on' means its always looking for a connection whether there is anything to send or receive, so should a program need to say check for email it can anytime.

    If 'enable always-on' is off, internet data only travels when specifically requested such as using a browser.

    Have you installed any battery savers like juice defender?
    Have you installed any data allowance app/widgets - maybe a limit setting?

    Go into data usage and see if set mobile data limit is set on (mobile data must be enabled first) - this function will switch off mobile data when the set limit of data has been reached (set by moving the bar on the graph)

    Nope - I D/L the generic (?) one that you (?) recommended and then unlocked the phone to use it on 'Orange'

    OK - ready ........

    Android version 4.0.3
    Baseband 2030

    Wi-Fi = ON
    Bluetooth = OFF

    Data Usage:-
    Mobile Data = ON
    Limit = unticked

    More:-
    Tethering = unticked

    Mobile Networks:-
    Data Enabled = ticked *this is the one that keeps getting unticked*
    Data Roaming = ticked
    Enable always-on = ticked

    We have the 3D Digital Weather Widget thingy and the 'battery watcher' one.

    From our 'Your Orange' app we have used 36MB data in 2½ weeks, so don't think we have hit any limits ;) even though none are set!

    Your move ;););)

    Ok..

    maybe to do with wifi - if you have 3G mobile data on, then switch wifi on or come into range of a wifi connection it switches 3G off and goes over to wifi,

    if wifi then stops (toggle off) it should go back to 3G - mine comes up with a warning message "wifi disconnected - continuing internet access will lead to traffic continue?"

    cancel (or back key) leaves 3G off, (Data Enabled = becomes unticked)

    OK switches it back on again.
