MrsB has had her phone for about 3 weeks now and loves it ... BUT ... it keeps switching off the mobile data without us doing so
We have to go to settings, more... , mobile networks, and tick the 'data enabled' box again which is rather annoying.
Anyone else have this problem?
Yeap - Is she using Sat Nav? - I noticed every time i closed Sat Nav it switches off the data reception - took me a couple days to figure what was happeningWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
Basically extremely happy with my g300 having loaded the ICS with the B940 "SillyGoose" ..It's devodaphoned etc
Only problem I have that i'd like to fix then leave the phonee alone is getting rid of the annoying "Red lining" when texting... I've tried to do the various fixes in previous messages but unfortunately no go... The stumbling block I now realise is that I have to get something called ADB working on my PC which looks hellishley complex.. It will be really good if someone comes up with an easy fix for this problem! The Early bird may catch the worm ...but its the second mouse that gets all the cheese!0 -
I'm very happy with it too
My only gripe is that it's not very loud on speakerphone ....Media sound is great but speakerphone is rubbish so need to get some time to sort it out for the rare occasions I'd use it.It's not just about the money0 -

Hi,
what do you mean by using Sat Nav? do you mean just the act of turning the GPS function on and off or using an app like google maps or navigon does it?
I don't get it so it may be a power or internet setting different somewhere...?0 -

Answering Jethro's question as well as this - she doesn't use 'sat nav' (whatever you may mean) but maybe has used google maps out of pure curiosity0 -

Not had the problem myself but on mine you can turn data as well as wifi on and off from the pull down screen on the home page without the need to go into settings etc0 -

Can you expand on that please.
She does 'pull down' on the 'new text' icon (top left) - have we maybe caught something in error????0 -

The notification pulled down screen on mine shows at the top wifi, data, Bluetooth, GPS and rotate. All these can be turned on and off from there without the need for going through settings.0 -

Ahah!
I knew it was wifi, blue tooth on the left and brightness on the right, but hadn't a clue what the other two were!!!!!!!
We will keep an eye on that then :cool:0
