i really need to upgrade my old nokia, (My neices are sooooo embarassed at my phone that they wont let me use it when they're around!)

a.)i'm on payg with virgin, i'd like to keep my number- is that what is meant by unlocking?

Coming into the 21st century feel I need a touchscreen phone with internet and I like to skpe etc rom laptop so that'd be good.

b.)should I check with tesco first before spending money I dont have?

c.) should I wait until the G330 comes out-if so does anyone knowwhen its released

No, unlocking is something you do to the phone to allow to work with sim cards from any network. All you'll have to do keep your number is put the sim card from your old phone into your new one.

Don't see why you should wait, there are plenty of phones available now, it isn't expected to be released until November.

Waiting doesn't work where technology is concerned, you will be in a viscous circle otherwise.

If you wait 'til this G330 appears, when it does you'll be thinking of something else that'll be out in a few months, and so on
