IME the battery is just fine unless you are new to smartphones so unaware of the need to charge up more than with non-smartphones. There are also many free apps to help minimise battery use. I personally use Easy Battery but that's not saying it's the best. Works for me.0

hi
thought I'd jump on to tihs deal, I've had conflicting answers from tesco stores:
but I this is where I think it stands today
the £15 off mobiles in tescos on a £30 min spend in store groceries now does not incoude the Huawei ascend G300, as one of the phones offered in this deal: that's according to Tesco customer services, this offer of £15 off runds until 30/9
There is another offer of no minimum spend , running from 9/9/12 to 16/9/12, the huawei g300 is £80, reduced from £100, thats the deal, the £15 vouchers do not apply to this handset. Other guff on tihs phone: no more than 2 handsets per customer, blah blah
This phone is not available online its a instore offer only.
CS werent exactly clear, but thats the latest I have got on this.
If anyone has any more up to date news , please share.
all in all, lack of communication between cs and stores, I think that offer of getting it for £65 is over, at least for the moment......0 -

Dunno about the store you are using but they are sooo wrong
In my local store the G300 has official Tesco sticker on it:
"£80 or £65 with £30 groceries" actually stuck on the phones
I think your store is just guessing - and guessing wrong - or try another store - or run it through self-serve check out and bail out if it doesn't go thru at £65
Only thing thats over is the glitch that meant you dont need to spend £30 to get the discount (someone bought 2 phones and 2 cans coke for £131 ish) - recent feedback suggests its no longer glitched so you have to spend £30 to get the discWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
You can still get it from isme for around £69 +£4 delivery (£6 cashback too via tcb = £67).
Use code 293GV (£30 off £99 price)
(Expires 30/9/12.)0 -
i dont mind spending the £30 - after all we need our weekly foodshop and though I prefer other supermarkets I could put up with tesco.
But I was told this by 2 different CS advisors asI was ringing around trying to find out if any store had the phone and asking how much it was.
I'm just trying to avoid a wasted trip to the store that actually has it in stock- not that near to me. they were reserving it for me until store closes tonight- didnt make it though so may try tomorrow.
When I rang the store I said I didnt want to pay the £80, due to being on a tight budget etc, and they said they scanned it and it wasnt showing up in the £15 off deal
So then rang CS again, they confirmed the deal on that phone was now "no other purchase necessary", "shelf ticket price includes reduction" new price is £80, reduced from £100, (£20 off original price)
I then got another number for tesco CS online, thry told me £80 deal , but said it was reduced from £110, so even better off than the £15 voucher deal! ( I kid you not)
I pointed out that the reduced to £80 from £110 wasnot actually better than getting the phoen for £65 in the £15, didnt really g o down that well
Confused, yep
Incidentally do you mind telling me which store still has the yellow sticker on it? thanks0 -

I am totally new to smartphones. This is my first one & I think that's why I'm getting frustrated with it.0 -
