The G300 I got yesterday is definitely locked to Vodafone.

So the discount is now £25?

Before zooming off to my nearest Tesco (10 miles round trip), I thought I'd see what tesco.com had to offer and found 'Sorry, this product is currently unavailable.' Oh, and the online price is £100.

But even if the store price is also £100, with a £25 discount the price would be £75, still OK.

Now to check whether they have stock ...

It's £15 off, and does it have to be groceries? The only thing I need for that money is new glasses, but you can't put those through the scanner!

You could try picking up the phone and asking the optician to put both through the till at the same time though.
You never know...the discount might still kick in.

Except that I wouldn't have gone for Tesco glasses otherwise. Also, I wouldn't like to get accused by Deleted_User of trying to cheat the store.

I was unlucky and got one locked to Vodafone.

Now it's happily running Tesco Mobile, sadly there is some bloatware Apps I can't work out how to get rid off (so I've moved them into a folder called "crap").

Great phone for the price, and with ICS promised to be delivered soon it will soon be even better
