2015 Wedding

Hi everyone, we're getting married in October 2015 and we have venue and photographer booked. There's a band we like but we're still looking around and our date and time are reserved with the registrar. We're decided on some invitations and centerpieces but I'm struggling with flowers! I have no idea about anything to do with them! Our colours are navy with autumnal orange and reds. Any tips?

ETA: I also have my shoes already!

Finished making my sweet table and guest book signs today and have started decorating our post box glitter vases and jars started for sweet table and I'm trying to soften my veil ready to add crystals to that and my dress huge package with all of our bridal party's personalised glasses and gifts arrived yesterday too really loving most of the diy stuff except the sign that I started to have on top table saying mr and mrs that I now can't find a frame long enough for May have to make my own lol hope wedding planning and making is going well for,you all xxx

March 2015 wedding!

Booked the registry office slot
Given notice and collecting the certificate later in the week
Waiting to hear back about booking the reception venue
Starting to make my dress this evening
Begun collecting bits for decorations etc
Grooms brother is DJ-ing
My brother and a friend are doing the photos
Guest list for registry office and reception pretty much done

We are on a 'one thing a day' plan at the moment, so hopefully we get everything done far enough in advance we can enjoy the run up to the wedding, and also we don't get wedding overload!

We are doing similar 1 thing a weekish at the moment in terms of buying bits and pieces of the wedding. Purchased my page boys/ushers a gift of al ittle sherrifs badge, also purchased sometimes for my hair and 2 ring pillows

HEllo all. IS anyone else doing a memory table at their wedding. My Grandma passed away 8 years ago and I want her to be there in some way. There's other members of my family who if they were still living would be there.

How are you commemorating this if you are?

I miss my Nan a lot, and so am using her favourite flowers in my bouquet and am using part of her wedding dress (and part of my mums) sewn in to mine.
I don't think I'd fancy a memory table really, I would probably find it a bit morbid on the day. But that is just me!

I loving the wedding dress idea, I think my Mum would not like me cutting up her wedding dress though. I did think about it to turn it into my veil or something as she had a lacy dress.
