diamonds;
IMHO it should be offered across the board!
I know I am one on their 'hitlist' for negotiation behind closed doors
Whilst I have no desire to cut my nose of to spite my face, the niggle in my head is:..............should they be allowed to flout contract law in such away and get away with it?

How many people out there have been sucked in and discouraged by Orange lies and have not persued this?
How many will be paying through the nose because they didn't know how to go about sorting the issue....

The chap in the exec office I have been dealing with has treated me respectfully, but to my knowledge he has only 40! complaints on his desk; he is unsure how many his female colleague had......
Just look at the interest in this thread and compare.

I am no martyr I should add
• How are people contacting this exec team?

I've contacted OFCOM and got a ref no

I've sent a letter the complaints address for Orange

Should i be call this exec lot as well?

Thanks

J

If you have the number for Orange Executive Office

Phone them and quote Ofcom ref no to register your complaint

Orange Exec Office Tel: 0800 0790 134

Get the name of the person you are speaking to, put it in writing and email to exec office FAO the person who you spoke to

Email: executive.office@everythingeverywhere.com

Personally, I hand write and log time/date/content of conversation every time I contact them or vice versa
• Hi Eva49,

If you could let me know the number/email that would be great.

I agree !

Indeed.

Poor chap, bet they regret taking the job, EXEC team reported problems are constanly dismissed by Orange/EE top table!

When dealing with this "team" you should ask all your options then tell them you need time to think about such for a few days, WE can stop this "CLOSED door routine" by publically posting our offers whilst "thinking about it".

Orange want you all to keep this all in the dark "case by case", dont let them...you have the right of freedom to disclose such.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

If you contract to take their offer, it will be a totally separate account, but, you get a reduced cost BB as an orange mobile customer.

Prices quoted are for customers on Orange pay monthly and pay as you go mobile plans living in an Orange Broadband network area, which covers 85% of all ...
(had to delete link sorry as I'm a new user)
Yet again an inducement to purchase a mobile service, however, you can have PAYG and still be eligible for reduction in BB charges.

Just need to remember if you decide to go elsewhere for mobile services;)

But those T&C's refer to a different package. They have told me in no uncertain terms that even if I cancel my mobile contract when it comes to an end I will still get my home broadband and line rental for £14 per month. So on the face of it a tempting deal. And it does say on the letter "£14 per month.......That's all you need to pay"

But, as we all know, it seems Orange are able to say what they like when they're signing you up to a new contract whether it's true or not (which is why I was seeking an email to confirm). Very frustrating.

I'm far from excited to hear their offers as anything bar no changes until my contract is over will really be suitable.

Even that at this stage will be a great annoyance as my time which this has all taken will never be returned or compensated.

The last time i was compensated by Orange was for £50 for over 50 calls i had to make. At less than £1 per call each lasting over 20 minutes i'd do better working as an illegal immigrant at a car wash.

How much do Orange actually have to pay BT for the line? :)

Well every little helps business, Orange make good profit on it before ANY calls. Orange pay £98.81 a year to BT Wholesale for 2012-13. £69.09 profit for NOTHING on £14 a month offer per year, but...

2013-14 BT Wholesale caps are expected to fall further, then 2014-15 further, signing up to 18 months in october Orange benefit from the reduction for both financial years making a *minimum* of £69.09 over 12 months on a 18 month £14 Orange line rental yet dont lift a finger just tell BT we have this customer.

Rather than type it all out, I'll google it...I'LL BE BACK ;)

EDIT: Info here: http://www.zdnet.com/bt-forced-to-cut-wholesale-line-rental-prices-3040095224/

On a side note, currently Primus take a very small loss on £7.99 line rental, perhaps Orange should try the same or there abouts.

EE could take the market by doing the same without Orange broadband as standard, then you have direct marketing at current customers for broadband, FIBRE broadband & EE4G - cheapest marketing ever - current customers & their word of mouth & EE stores...leading landline, broadband, Fibre & 4G who needs spend millions upon millions on press ? back that up with face to face customer service instead of SALES outlets & "thats the way to do it!", but then EE are gambling here on EE and launch before EE full brand launch with Orange FREE broadband saga hitting the media - DOH !!!!
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
