FORGIVE MY IGNORANCE BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND YOUR POST!!!!

ORANGE ARE MIS-SELLING MOBILE CONTRACTS TO ALL CUSTOMERS WHO WERE ON THE ORIGINAL "FREE FOR LIFE BROADBAND" AND ORANGE ARE NOW TRYING TO GET CUSTOMERS TO SWITCH THEIR BT LINE TO ORANGE. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY!!:mad::mad:
CONTACT OFCOM AND GET A REFERENCE NUMBER AND PHONE ORANGE EXECUTIVE OFFICE ON:08000790134

DO NOT SWITCH YOUR LINE TO ORANGE - IT IS CALLED SLAMMING.

ADVISE ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO DISOWN ORANGE AND EVERYTHINGEVERWHERE/GOING NOWHERE!!!!:T:T

No idea why your shouting but people will make their own mind up re Orange and if its in their interests to stay.

Its only slamming if a company moves your land line without asking.

Greenwich girl was pointing out that BT have cleverly offered good deals to anyone who has BT line rental and orange broadband.

    The offers are on:
    www.bt.com/orange

but you have to do it from your orange broadband for eligibility.

The link (broken due to not being able to post links as newbies) is to BT's Website where they now have a special page for Orange Customers who might like to move (dont we all).
  • Yes at last!!!!!!!!!!! See post 2576.

At 5.55pm, got the email comfirming BB free until the end of my mobile contract August 2014.
Also confirmation of the good will gesture to be paid into my mobile account in full. Now the ball is in my court I will NOT grant closure on my case until the money is 'in the bank'. So all of you hang out and demand the new agreement in writing!

    Kind Regards

I was under the impression that if someone was under extreme pressure/duress to switch lines this was slamming. If this is not the case I stand corrected.!!:)

I was told by Orange that I would have free broadband for as long as I was an Orange customer (18 months ago), at the time they tried to pressure sell a landline, but I told them that was not what they had promised. Now they have told me I have to have an Orange land line or pay the same amount as a fee for the service to keep my BT line!, so like many I have moved Broadband to BT Infinity and BT were very good at sorting everything out, Orange however have played silly devils all the way and if wasn't for the grief of moving mobile numbers I would move that too.

I understand that Orange probably are finding free broadband expensive, but surely it would be a chance to pressure sell fibre optic
instead they are now losing goodwill and custom. When they back down, what good is that going to be for me? I like many will have moved to other suppliers.
My Mind wanders, if found please return.

That BT page made me laugh. Talk about sticking two fingers up at the competition.

Bear in mind, the £5 month deal will go up to £5.25 in Jan, inline with all of their price increases.

Also, its an 18month contract, and will go up to over £16 after 18months, so you'll have to shop around then.

As an update to my own personal situation, I've been waiting for my promised call back for 3 weeks now with nothing. I'm hoping orange cut me off, because then I will take Eva's very good advice and push for nothing less than penalty free cancellation of my £50+ a month contract.
