When I refer to 'home brew Perry Mason's' - I hope no one take offence - because none is intended
It is a reminder to the poster of the above statement
It is our clarion call and battle cry!
And ought be the name for our merrie band.
Lao Tzu tells us to " use your opponents strengths against him!"
And here is our flag :beer:0 -
Thanks to this forum I called Ofcom and obtained a complaint number. And today I called Orange and spoke to Melissa who has agreed to extend the free broadband until the end of my mobile contract (almost 12 months to go). I asked for comfirmation by email and look forward to receiving that info.
I cannot thank enough, the forum members who have been instrumental in making me keep pestering Orange.
So I know that towards the end of next September I will have to look again at a Broadband provider but at least my mobile contract will be ended also.
Result. (of sorts)0 -

You will be able to access it provided you access it once every 90 days.
Base on the information I've been told. I should have that final quote as a signature lol0 -

Explained free BB etc and asked if it was going to be extended till the end of my contract. Long hold while spoke to supervisor. - NO. it is been done on a case by case basis. what ever that means! if yes for one then should be yes for all!0

Have you followed the process?
Ofcom - get ref number-Orange Executive Office?
I can't be sure, but it does look as though only if you complain in this manner, via Ofcom, will you get an extension of free BB.
Ensure your complaint is on mis-sold mobile contract0 -
Ofcom were closed so phoned Orange number on the letter they sent me. Tried Orange Ex but on hold for ages.
Will try Ofcom tom and get aRef number. Dont think I will renew my mobile with Orange tho! I have been with them for 8 years. not as good way to treat a loyal customer!0 -
Sorry. Moon777 if I bring bad news I was just trying to help iscorpio out, don't shoot the messenger, it was Orange that changed terms on a case by case situation to keep free/discounted broadband, twice they let me keep it on a under £30 pm upgrade.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0
