CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COMEON ! ITS A CELEBRATION !!!
Wonder how much Ofcom will fine the new EE brand, given Ofcom main funding source is fines, all publicity is good publicity eh EE ? LOL
I wonder what will happen with 4G!!!! - given that Ofcom handed it to EE prior to the 4G auction
BT on the case - could we see a follow up with O2 & Vodaphone!?
RememberO2 were already banging their drum about litigation over 4G
This is another fine mess you have gotten us into Olaf! :beer:0 -

NEXT we all complain about spineless Ofcom to the Minister about Ofcom conduct:
Allowed EE a 4G monopoly, not in consumer interest.
Allowed EE to set up a 4G EE MVNO as to bar Orange/T-Mobile resellers from competing on 4G, not in consumer interest.
Allowed EE to sell its extra 1800mhz 2G to be sold to its NETWORK partner 3UK who launch before the 4G auctions to get its EXCLUSIVE 4G launch - MONOPOLY by both 50/50% MBNL companies (http://www.mbnl.co.uk/).
Allowed Orange away with this broadband palava until the last minute, already effecting tens of thousands of consumers to be bullied into other phone/broadband contracts.
I'm sure there is more, I'll have a think EvaSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
It is still in the back of my mind that if Ofcom issued a directive on standalone BB they could be partially to blame for this fiasco?0

Orange will be unable to defend their position, so will have to negotiate settlements or let a District Judge decide.
For any Scots considering legal action...
Small claims in Scotland dont go to District courts, we abolished them, Justice of the Peace (or District courts were) for minor CRIMINAL, our small claims go to Sheriff Courts (ooohhh Orange how does it feel ?), thats one step under the HIGH Court of Scotland, the Scots 'Old Bailey.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Thats where|I was going to have to go, the local Sherriff court. Which now faces closure due to cutbacks.

Standalone is that, a current customer/consumer of any standalone broadband should not be bullied into BUNDLED deals (FREE broadband is regardless) its is mis-selling & slamming what Orange done, let alone thier own T&C or UK legislation.
Ofcom must have had thousands upon thousands of complaints, it only issues directives in such circumstances.
http://ask.ofcom.org.uk/help/services-and-billing/conchange says:
"When you take out a broadband or phone deal it’s understandable that you expect to get what you signed up for.
But sometimes a communications provider may decide to alter the terms and conditions of your original contract.
They can do this so long as they follow certain Ofcom rules, called General Conditions.
If a communications provider wants to alter a contract’s terms and conditions, they must consider, among other things, whether the change will be of material detriment to their customers.
Under General Condition 9.6, communications providers must provide customers for whom a change is likely to be of material detriment with one month’s notice of the change.
Customers must also be informed that they are entitled to terminate their contract without penalty if the change is not acceptable to them.
If you are affected you by such a change, in the first instance you should speak to your provider about your concerns.
If the problem relates to a particular term or condition, you can log a complaint with Ofcom.
*****Ofcom monitors complaints about the behaviour of communications providers and if there is a high volume of complaints about a particular issue, we may investigate and take action as required.*****"
