For now a lot of useful information has been 'lost' in the numerous recent pages generated ;)

But I will collate and re-post when this disruption has died down;)

Funny how this often happens on internet forums discussing orange, over the years you get to see the Orange patterns and techniques - the disruptor's, the argument creators, the distractor's, the legals. Boring.

Looking forward to a collated post:T
  • Interesting!

Well they can try and distract as much as they like but I've started the ball in motion to move broadband and calls to Sky and will be visiting Tesco at the end of the month to switch over my mobile.

I'm not going to be forced into a poorer landline deal by Orange.

Just a thought for the BT basic customers ... & perhaps playing `devils advocate` here but ...
I used to work for BT and I think that one of the conditions to `qualify` to go on to that tariff was that you do not have a mobile phone.

I only mention this incase it becomes an issue down the line. hopefully it will not come to that.

    Nobby.
would not matter, it was dropped after I ripped BT CEO to bits that a disabled/chronic sick person on ESA/IB who had a mobile for outdoors/emergencies was discriminated against, the requirement disappeared from the website t&c.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    ...

200 minutes a month is fine if you only use your mobile to call your nan once a week...

Some of us use slightly more.

I said an Extra 200 mobile mins, on top of the standard 200 mobile mins, making 400 in total PLUS the standard unlimited landline mins. Plenty to ring my nan with (if either were still alive).

Great to hear, thanks for the input.

Now where is that collaboration so those of us who are distressed and concerned about what to do can get back to saving some money.

And just as a comparison those with second lines who will be loosing them also were getting Unlimited landlines calls, unlimited calls to Orange mobiles, and unlimited international calls to 100 international landlines.... We could of called everybody's nans! ... But now they'll have to go back to knitting... As thats going to! But its ok its still free broadband at least!

Would that mean if i was on a low income and took advantage of BT's Line Rental saver to keep my cost of living to a minimum, be a type of discrimination if i was forced to take an offer.

No broadband provider could force you off BT Basic, Orange included...call Ofcom.

You really are quite obnoxious aren't you? So you're 'distressed' that you've lost something that was free anyway. Heaven help you if something that actually mattered happened to you.
