Are you ashamed of being in debt?

No, I am not ashamed of my debt. I'm cross with myself for being so naive and foolish. I have told a few close friends and my OH, and I have had a lot of support and encouragement from them.
I am proud to be dealing with my debt, and happy that I have finally understood a lesson my mother has been trying to teach me for half a century!
By this time next year I should be debt free. Bring it on
I feel the same way, I'm not ashamed. I just feel really cross with myself for being stupid with money and getting into debt and for thinking that it wasn't a problem, for spending so much money on so much pointless stuff, mostly 'cos it cheered me up to be able to buy things, and I'm cross for not listening to my parents who tried to tell me all this in the first place! But hopefully I have learned my lesson!much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -
