Trying for a Baby Part 8

Hi ladies. I'm back
I got EWCM yesterday so OH and I are TTC this month after a break. My feet are still in plaster and suffering today from DTD lol but I'm able to get to hospital for my injections if I get PG this month and I did also stockpile some of my heparin from after my op to save for when I get PG so I can take it as soon as I get a BFP.
I've not read back so no idea who is here and who has graduated since July.
Hope everyone is well x x:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Vic - I can't find a link for your chart to take a look. What went wrong?
I will PM you a link, thank youI slept in on quite a few of the days this week, so temps weren't very accurate.
Welcome back skintchick. Hope you aren't here for long
All this losing weight talk has prompted me to calculate my BMI. I have put on a bit of weight since I got married but was pleasantly surprised to see that my BMI is 26.9. I thought it would be a lot more. Even so, I would like to drop a stone or two so would be great to be in a 'club'!DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
I would assume you havent ovulated and keep testing.
FF will only go on an average and can be wrong especially if youre new to it or irregular cycles. You can only tell you ovulated once your temp has risen for 3 days.
Keep doing the opks. Ive had them go from faint to nothing to faint, to nothing... to BOOM STRONG LINE! lol
Do it after 11am if you can, and not first urine of the day.
One good thing - touch wood - I think Ive competely stopped bleeding :T
Thank u... My cycles are pretty regular between 32-34 days. Just bought 50 more of eBay... I only initially bought 10 for this cycle..just to see how it went...
I'll keep testing and hope for the best...

Welcome back Skint! Forgive me for forgetting, but what have you had done to your feet?!
Took the plunge and bought a CBFM!Thought OH would make a fuss about the cost but he was really happy for me to 'do whatever it takes'
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Oh I had my bunions done on Dec 3. I'm still in plaster! I've been blogging about it at https://www.beyondbunions.blogspot.com. If you want to have a read. I had them done because we had to have a break from TTc anyway while we had investigations into our miscarriages. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

welcome back skint, lovely to see you here again but I hope you're leaving us very soon
I so get jealous of ladies who can use a cbfm, just another reason to hate pcos, no fun gadgets lol
oh also, my pre ovulation temps have been quite high this month, is that a problem? hope I can still tell a shifthope it's already happened as I've been quite dry today but not had as much ewcm as normal so I'm probably just being overly optimistic like every cycle lol
looking forward to going to the gym for a swim and a little lie in the hydrotherapy pool, might as well ease myself in slowlyLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Got Married April 20110 -
My husband scared me a bit a few minutes ago. He asked if I thought getting a gastric band would help. Needless to say, I'm terrified of the idea. He hates that he scared me, but being scared like that might be exactly what I need to get motivated.
I've told him that if we aren't expecting by next Christmas, I'd like a gym membership. I do miss swimming, but I have a new to me bike, plus I plan on doing exercise videos in our living room. My body packs on muscle like crazy instead of burning fat, but maybe if I stick with it, my body will be forced to burn the fat eventually.
I don't know. I've tried so many things. I'm terrified now though. Maybe that will be enough for a start.
Because of this, I've decided to really start watching my food intake tomorrow. Hopefully I can get through the week of migraines and being sick due to it while DH is on holiday.0 -
Claire - I can't see a problem with you getting a sicknote in the slightest. I think you can easily be signed off for 2-3 weeks, but can push for extra if you need it. I read on the miscarriage post that you are going to hand your notice in. Eeeek, exciting times :j Glad you have stopped bleeding, its such a nasty reminder of what has happened
Just be a little prepared, as your next 3-4 AFs will be heavier than prior to the miscarriage. Obviously hope you don't get AF at all, but it was a shock for me and I found it very upsetting as it reminded me of everything. I have returned to my previous fairly light cycles now tho. My mum said that my brother had told her he thought I should go on the pill and she said whatever you do don't tell Abi that. And then he went and told me that :rotfl: He doesn't understand having to wait for things or things being difficult tho. Hes got oodles of money, and no problems to speak of. He has a son which they caught on with in a cycle or 2, and I know he has been a part of at least 5 abortions with various girlfriends over the years. So no, he has no idea what its like.
:o
Skintchick - Yayyyyyyyyyyyy for being back and TTC :j:j:j:j Just spent nearly an hour reading your blog. Glad the op has all gone well :T:T I don't like you having a real life name tho :rotfl::rotfl: Its like when mrsj told us she isn't even mrsj, and tealover actually likes coffee more than tea, and other confusing user names!!
Vic - You are more than welcome to join our 'club'. The more the merrier
Kellykins - I test around about 3pm and thats always worked well for me. You should always have a certain about of LH in your system and FMU is not an accurate test time normally. Some people test at say 3pm and 10pm as you may miss the surge if you only test every 24 hours. I don't drink much fluid, so my urine is always fairly concentrated so I can pick up a +ve OPK fairly easily. You are meant to restrict fluids for 3-4 hours before testing as well I think to make it easier to read. MV always recommended clear blue OPKs as they took a lot of the guess work out of it and gave you a smiley face when you ov. They're quite pricey tho, so I stick with the internet cheapies.
Birdie - I think DH would agree to owt to just stop me crying and being upset over TTCI spoke to him earlier about the possibility of him doing a sperm sample, and he was fine with it, so thats a relief. Thought he would be ok, but you never know - some men would get all offended by it wouldn't they?
Hope the CBFM works for you
Teamlowe - I think you'll still be able to detect a temp rise? I'm still too optimistic tooHave fun at the gym

If your longest cycle is about 34 then it's pretty certain you will ovulate by say cd22 going on a minimum of a 12 day luteal phase so keep testing it should happen soon!
But if you do have regular cycles that's a massive blessing as you know its coming so i would just do lots of bding right now & don't worry if you miss a day testing if you're busy or whatever!0
