Trying for a Baby Part 8

Abi I am so excited to start something new. I'm sure people will think I've lost the plot or something but I would have done it anyway I just got pregnant first! I hope the dr will do that because I've got a really long notice period which I am going to try to negotiate on as I know I will be much happier doing something else.
I hope I don't get AF either but thanks for the warning anywaygood to be prepared. Plus at least I can use tampons unlike this week!
Ugh yes some people have no idea how hard ttc really is.0 -
evening ladies, im going to be MIA again for a few days.
took my first opk today to get me into the swing of itthat was exciting! (i bought a 50 pack from amazon so ive got lots, plus i clearly wont need them after this month because due to the tests and my insane PMA im obv gonna get my BFP with a sticky bean this month)
not so good news, since we came back from hols DHs gran has been really really ill (almost lost her) but she seems to be slightly recovering currently (family still at hospital 24/7), but this morning my uncle died. he was ill with cancer but getting more treatment but a blood clot and its all overso glad he made it to our wedding in June so i got to see him happy.
so im off home tomorrow night/saturday for a few days, happy new year ladies! heres to BFPs for all of us next year xx

Hi ladies, back from the in-laws - hope you've all had a fabulous Christmas!
Becca, thanks so much for keeping up with the lists... as predicted AF did arrive on Christmas day (although it was kind enough to wait until I'd had my dinner and was resting on the couch!).
I'm on CD3 today so if you are updating the lists again tomorrow morning please could you change it to CD4?? Many thanks!!
I haven't read back much although Abis, I have read your post and it's made me so angry!! Please do not let one stupid doctor upset you. I am around 35 BMI and have PCOS and I know my weight is an issue but my GP couldnt have been nicer. She referred me to the FS pretty much instantly and they have also been brilliant. All very sympathetic to the fact that because of my PCOS I struggle to weight.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to be doctors - there attitude is so frustrating. I'm sure your usual GP will be much more helpful....
I'll bve back to the usual new year fitness regime in Jan...lets see how long it lasts this time!!!0 -
Cozza did they investigate properly if you've lost 3 babies? That's heart breaking.0

Nice to see you on here skint chick although I wish neither of us were back on here!0

Hello ladies,
Claire - there should be no problem getting a sick line, after my third I had about 3 weeks off I just couldn't have faced work. Glad you've stopped bleeding, it makes a big difference emotionally not being reminded all the time.
Abi - thinking of you, I cant believe the cheek of your GP today, some people obviously have no idea. I think fertility is one of those things where if you haven't struggled you have absolutely no idea what it feels like to try and not succeed or to lose a baby. I think you should go back and see your nice one and just write her off.
Skint - Good to see you back herehope your feet are feeling loads better soon and the treatment from the hospital mean you've got your forever baby really really soon! Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Cozza - I hear you, it feels like everyone else is getting what they want but it will happen. It really will.
Trina - I'm really sorry to hear about your uncle, I hope DH's gran improves too, its a sad time of year to lose loved ones
Birdie - woo for CBFM, I really liked it when I had it on trial, maybe I'll get one next year.
I'm starting my new years resolutions early, I woke up on boxing day and just decided I need to get sorted so I'm not waiting for January. Had a nice squash, spelt and fennel salad for dinner so I'm happy.
Not looking forward to January particularly, we've got appointments with the gynae consultant about my ovary and the recurrent miscarriage clinic and I'm really nervous about them both.
Big big hugs to everyone struggling, any more BFPS for 2012 anyone? I could do with some cheering up!0 -
claire yeah other than testing them i think they did blood tests and scans.

AF is due in 3 days. I couldn't resist doing a test but it was negative (boots own brand).
If AF arrives we will just have to try harder next month lol!
Hugs to everyone who needs them xo0
