Hugs to all the ladies caught by the witch, it would seem that after she was done with you she came after me so I'm calling CD1 today.

On the plus side at least my cycle was shorter and I wasn't waiting 4 weeks to ov only to start af too soon anyway.

Also I can have a drink at the party I'm going to tonight so :beer: hooray for booze! I can also have a little drinky at new years too. I'm trying to think positively so lets see if I can keep it up!
Got agnus castus and Vitamin B complex on the way so hoping that helps. Will keep temping as well, Got a rise so I know I ovulated and this morning my temps only just above the coverline so I knew I was out before I got up.

I'm also dieting from the 7th of Jan as I want to be as healthy as possible for my new year attempts at baby making. I want to lose about 2 stones in total, nice to know I'm not alone!

Morning everyone! DH and I stayed up a bit late last night forming a list of goals and weight loss goals. DH is at a healthy weight, but he wants to support me fully and tone up at the same time.

Thanks Claire & Firefly for looking at my chart. I have had a temp drop today but Duo seem to have confirmed ovulation as the 25th- which is typical. I was BD'ing all over the show except 24th/25th as I was just really busy with family. Pfff. Never mind.

On the bright side it means next week I can go and get my 'day 21' bloods finally! Had the form since October but missed November ov somehow. Lets get these investigations on the road!

I would have said you ov'ed on the 24th based on your chart. But then again, I'm not a scientist boffin and your temps are very erratic.

Yay for Ovulation TCD. You don't have to bd on the day of Ovulation a couple of days before can still work as the little swimmers can live for up to 5 days and lay in wait of the eggie to pop out;)

Welcome Saz. It can take up to a year for your AF to settle down after the pill so try not to worry.

TCD - there's been some research that suggests BDing 2-3 days before ov is more effective than on ov day.

Weird cycle. BBs are aching even though they only normally hurt at ov and afterwards. No ewcm to suggest ov so hope I'm not having another epic cycle.

Arrgh! I just did a long post quoting people and my computer wouldn't post it and now it's lost Humph.

in brief it was:

My investigations: result is I have a genetic clotting disorder called Factor V leiden, so my blood is sticky and clots up the placenta so my babies die Babies also have a 50/50 chance of having it. Next time I get PG I will inject daily with heparin the whole pregnancy to thin my blood which should result in a live baby.

Chances are 95 per cent with heparin compared to my person stat of 16 per cent so far. So I feel pretty positive about it TBH.

And Cozza - I did loads to you n how I think you haven;t had the specific tests and I think you should go to your GP for a referral to a fertility/recurrent miscarriage clinic to have the same tests I had.

You may still end up as 'unexplained' but you might get a result of something treatable, like me. It doesnt sound to me like you have had the full tests, just tests on your baby.

You need to be personally tested, by someone who can 'read' your history. My doctor looked at my history and scans and knew it would be a clotting disorder (apart from the fibroid interlude but hey ho). They can tell from when you lost the babies, and stuff like that. Please get referred.

Oh yes, and I said that my DD is an absolute miracle. The doctor had no idea how we had her with no problems although we *did* have growth scans at the end and it could have been that she wasn't just small, the stickiness might have compromised her growth a bit, BUT she is healthy and normal and was full-term and I had a completely normal home birth so...

She is just simply a gift from God. I treasure her even more now, I sometimes cry just thinking of her or looking at her I can't believe how precious she is. It's amazing.
