Morning ladies - how is everyone?

I'm still feeling like poo, but did manage to BD last night and judging by ov test yesterday today is ov day. Last night wasn't good though it felt like neither of us wanted to do it, I was ill and hubby tired, and we struggled to get in mood - sorry if TMI!

Feeling bit down today as in 3 weeks we are going to see a comedian in tour and we booked tickets 8 months ago, and I was SO sure id be preg by now, that I made hubby book me an aisle seat in case I had sickness or wanted a wee! Has just brought home how long we've been ttc for (as we were trying for 3/4 of last year too.)

Big big hugs. My DS turns 1 on 20th October and I was sure I would have a nice bump again, maybe even another baby. I've found it really hard this year especially as in i was pregnant all through 2010 and 2011. It will happen for us - have some PMA from me and some chocolate tonight.

I thought I was going to OV early this month but I am CD17 and I POAS this morning (cbfm) and there wasn't even a hint of a second line. Could it be that my eggs are over-mature because I ovulate so late? Is that even possible? Lol

The thing is i feel like they are about to come and have had this feeling since last weekend. TMI i know but everytime i go to the loo afterwards i get a dull cramping, yet when i wipe things are totally clear.

I feel your pain. I'm going to a concert on Sunday and I was sure I'd be PG for it; I spent ages worrying about how I'd be feeling, if I'd find it too tiring etc. Not only am I *not* PG for it but my SIL, who I'm going with, *is* PG and is suffering all of the symptoms I thought I'd have! Sigh.

Think OH is going off the idea of babies too He mentioned a little while ago about being bored of TTC and that he's not really fussed any more but he seems to be genuinely talking himself out of it now. It's probably a survival tactic so he's not so upset if it turns out we can't have kids but I don't like it! Last night I made a silly comment about us not having a baby (was part of a jokey conversation about how broken he's feeling ATM because he's ill ) and he started on a little rant about what our life without kids would be like vs. life with kids and all he's focussing on right now are the negatives like the dirty nappies, sleepless nights, cleaning up sick etc and all he's focussing on when he thinks about life without kids are things like exotic holidays, spare cash to spend on treats and having a decent social life. He's really stubborn minded so once he's convinced himself that what's in his head is right then there's no changing it! I blame the guy he works with for filling his head with horror stories, because of course he's not going to go on about how great his kids are when they're not being sick and causing him problems because that's not 'cool' but OH can't see that! :wall:

Think we need a break from it all then maybe start trying again in November/December. I just can't see a life without children, it's all I've ever wanted to do. I've never bothered thinking about a career because I only wanted to be a Mum first and foremost.

Sounds like you are having a day Birdie - just think its the weekend (well almost!) - am sure it will all be ok.

Teacups - when are you going to POAS?!?!?!?

Well we had a little fun last night and my OH says to me, my little swimmers are heroes so thats done the job! Dont really think he gets the whole TTC!!!

Birdie maybe the best thing is to just quietly ttc without letting hubby know where you are in your cycle etc. It's desperately unsexy for blokes when they feel like they are BD'ing to order..my OH is exactly the same, and the pressure is just too much sometimes and things don't happen IYKWIM. We had this on Tuesday night where I'd been out and had told OH that we needed to BD when I got in. I even said I'd be home by a certain time..how spontaneous! :rotfl:

When it came o it though it just wasn't happening. Neither of us were in the mood, and OH ended up getting all upset. he's a typical bloke, puts way too much emphasis on performance and feels a failiure if things don't happen.

As a result we both went to sleep feeling low and fed up Not good.

Hope everyone gets to enjoy some sunshine today. It's glorious here in London

Just to add I think I am 2DPO today based on an average cycle length this year of 27 days, so think I may have ov'd on day 13.

We've only DTD twice during this time on CD11 and CD14, so hoping that the fact swimmers are meant to live for a few days may save what has been a bit of a lack of BD'ing!:o

I have dull cramping. If it wasn't for Mr Clearblue Digi's good news the other day, I'd be sure AF was about to arrive any minute. But hopefully it's the bean burrowing in for a 9 month stay
