Morning ladies - how is everyone?

I'm still feeling like poo, but did manage to BD last night and judging by ov test yesterday today is ov day. Last night wasn't good though it felt like neither of us wanted to do it, I was ill and hubby tired, and we struggled to get in mood - sorry if TMI!

Feeling bit down today as in 3 weeks we are going to see a comedian in tour and we booked tickets 8 months ago, and I was SO sure id be preg by now, that I made hubby book me an aisle seat in case I had sickness or wanted a wee! Has just brought home how long we've been ttc for (as we were trying for 3/4 of last year too.)

Yeah I thought by the Olympics wed have a baby or a bump. But then we did stop ttc for about 6 months so its partly due to that. But if ttc had worked last year before I got my new job wed have a baby by now.

Big big hugs. My DS turns 1 on 20th October and I was sure I would have a nice bump again, maybe even another baby. I've found it really hard this year especially as in i was pregnant all through 2010 and 2011. It will happen for us - have some PMA from me and some chocolate tonight.

I thought I was going to OV early this month but I am CD17 and I POAS this morning (cbfm) and there wasn't even a hint of a second line. Could it be that my eggs are over-mature because I ovulate so late? Is that even possible? Lol

Claire - Hope ov is today!

thanks it most definitely must be! Ovulation pains and small temp drop.

We're off to the paralympics this afternoon to see swimming and then hotel tonight in London which is always good for bding! Were staying over as were going back to see atheletics tomorrow morning so means we dont have to get up at the crack of dawn.

Gorgeous weather gonna be 27c on sunday, I fancy a trip to the beach!

Thank you for your advice ladies, I have found this thread extremely useful over the past couple of months whilst starting to chart and become more familiar with my body and the TTC process etc :)

but wouldn't want to have an MC and wonder if something I did/didn't do may have made a difference.

This hit the nail on the head BigZippy, I would hate to think that too much fun on honeymoon resulted in MC or unhealthy baby etc which could have been avoided by preventing for a couple of weeks.

This is shaping up to be a fantastic holiday though so I really do want to make the most of it - I'm "hoping" it will be the last big trip for a while whilst we TTC etc.

I'll have a look at my charts before I go and take a view.

Best of luck with TTC ladies I'll go back to following your journeys from afar until next year but I will be keeping my fingers tightly crossed you each get your forever baby whilst I'm sitting quitely.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I've not been around for a week or so, you wouldn't believe how busy work has been. Clearly me being away works like a good luck charm though, congratulations on all the BFPs! :j:j:j

Think I'm out this month as not sure if I've OV'd (forgotten to temp as I've been so stressed / busy / not sleeping), and we've only managed to DTD in a baby-making rather than fun way once :o Oh well, PMA is I've been having lots of cuddles from little nephew and have more time now to get my house together for a LO.

Good luck all waiting to POAS :T
  • Hi all,

I will be honest, I have been avoiding the thread this week as AF has not arrived and I knew I would start SSing. I'm now nearly a week late and think it's time to POAS. I will pick one up today and give it a whirl tomorrow (although knowing my luck, AF will show up right after I have bought the stick - it has happened before).

Will go back and catch up on the thread to see what I have missed x

  • Is it awful that I am clock watching? Its so gorgeous outside I dont want to be at work!

I've also got the start of a horrible sore throat too. I never get colds/sore throat so will be looking for sympathy later.

What has everyone got planned for the weekend? x

Birdie dont worry about what your OH says unless he is being really persistent about it. I think it is just a way to cope and to tell himself that it will be ok if you guys didn't end up having kids.

Just carry on TTCing - all they need to do is BD anyway, we're the ones who have to keep track of ov and AF dates etc..thank goodness, if it was up to them, conceiving would be a miracle!

Just keep at it, it will happen for you. I do believe that we are all destined to have x number of children and they will come along when its their time - so in the meantime don't stress!
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

I do exactly the same thing to my DH. It's definitely my way of making sure I don't get my hopes up :o
