CPW O2 Retentions Thread

I'm negotiating an upgrade for a family member, CPW have offered...

600 mins
1000 text
£15.00 p/m

400 mins
+ 1 bolt on
£15.00 p/m both on 24 month (no phone) contracts

400 mins
400 texts
£10.00 p/m

or a cashback deal for 18 months
600 mins
+ 1 bolt on
£35.00 p/m (average after cashback is £9.50 p/m)

None of the offers sound that good to take up (budget is £10-15) although they are better than what o2 are offering price wise with their simplicity tarrifs.

Looking to get about 600 mins with a bolt on for about £10-£15 p/m and no cashback, if anyone has been offered anything similar please let me know.

Well I have just rang Carphone Warehouse and I am going. Cannot get anything for £10 a month or less with a free phone. Yet If I go to Carphone Warehouse online i can get a £10 a month contact with talk Mobile which would suit my needs.

I rang them up on Friday to see if i could upgrade. Best offer they managed to give me was:

100mins
Unlimited text for £10 24month contract.

right now im on:

200mins
400txt
unlimited internet
£5month

Said no. Requested address. Sent them a letter for 30days notice and pac code.

I'll be defo leaving them.
most likely to go with 3 Sim only deal £15tarrif. Used them before and it was good didnt have any bad experiance other then call centres in india.

Not sure if it helps but I think Talk Mobile £10 per month tariff includes 100 minutes 100 txts and unlimited internet. You get a free phone too.

is there anyone else who's up for contract renewal now .. that was on the o2 £35 a month with £600 cashback .... getting 600-800 minutes and 500 -1000 texts ...

one post in november said it was now £540 cashback ... i've just been offerred max £420 cashback regardless of threat !! .

Anyone know any differrent ?

A quick Google search shows that this is, I believe, factually incorrect - a few retailers are offering N97 Mini on o2, including Buymobilephones. CPW don't advertise it, and it is not on o2 website, but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't possible.

Sounds like a good deal if you can get it.
