hi all,
my wife's mobile phone contract gona expire in a few days and I am looking for some good deal for her. At the moment, she is getting 800 mintues with some texts which she never uses for £40 a month.I recently renewed my contract with O2 (not O2 CPW) and was offered a 24 months contract with 1200 any time any network minutes, unlimited landline calls, 400 texts all for £25 a month with O2 XDA ignito which I flogged on ebay for £250.
Can I get something from CPW like the deal I got myself ? Any thoughts please. I am after a sim only deal basically.0 -
Just got a new deal from o2, I'm not a fan of cashback deals (as i always end up forgetting or sending in the wrong bill) so wanted a fixed monthly bill, the deal I got is 400 mins, 1000 txts, free web bolt on on a 24 month contract at £10 pm - no phone.
Any good? Any better non-cashback deals out there? Was getting the same deal on a 18 month contract but at £15 pm. The guy wasn't budging on the price or tariff and said this was the lowest he could do on the mins that I needed.0 -
osmononame Ask them to try a bit harder
I got Online 25 with a £20 discount over 24 months that gives 400mins and unlimited text for £5pm. No phone though.
They will also charge you £1pm for detailed online billing so ask for that free.0 -

Did you get a web bolt on in that? If not do you remember how much extra they wanted for it as I need it for work. Fantastic deal though - you can't go wrong with £5 a month with no faffing about with cashback.

Online 25 has been repackaged as online 20 being 600 mins and 1000 texts and gives you an unlimited Web Bolt on option. I took unlimited text.

Insist on a loyalty discount but £15 is all you can get as they will not drop below a £5pm charge and you may have to agree a 24 month deal.
Good luck and be prepared to keep trying. Try to avoid the £1pm charge for detailed online billing.
Let us know how you get on.0 -
On the phone to them now but they are not budging - says that they can't offer £15 discount on the simplicity 20. Are you with o2 direct or cpw o2? What they did say is they can up my minutes to 600 - the rest of the deal stays the same but if I can get it for half price I would prefer that!
What the agent said was that they can't offer loyalty discount on simplicity deals as they are rolling contracts or something along those lines. I've taken the 600 min deal for just now anyway but can amend it or cancel within the next few days under the DSR if there are better deals out there.

I am with CPW O2 and I have an 24 month online tariff not a monthly simplicity one. I dealt with CPW retentions a month ago.
These are different products
Good luck0 -
