  • I've also taken this deal too as I'm quite happy with my 'phone and signing up for 2 years at £15 a month with a £10 a month onbill discount (making £5 a month) is a really great deal.

The deal is actually for 75 minutes + a 200 minute add-on which can take a couple of weeks to add + 250 texts.

No faffing around with cashbacks and the like makes a lot of sense.
  • I have been on 200 mins/200 texts, which is about right for me.
Last time, sim only renewal was £30/mth, but with 10 months free (£300 credited upfront - no redemption/cashback). £30 to pay for month 11, with renewal possible then (or cancellation, with month 12 then payable).
So, total annual cost £60, ie £5/mth, no cashback required (although i fully intended to renew at month 11).

This time they said only 7 months free, and redemption was necessary.

So I tried for the 275 min / 250 texts deal above.
    He said not available.
I quoted from the thread - he said not available to me.
I pushed, queried, pushed again: he didn't budge.

I then asked for any deal with about the right minutes/text that didn't involve redemption. None available (to me)

Why are deals only available to certain people?
  • Ignore the above.

    I rang them again.
    Was offered the same deal.

I then asked to be put through to cancellations.
Bingo! They offered the 75+200 mins/250 texts deal.

Can you give us some more details? :)

    12month or 18 month contract?

£10 cost per month or in total?

    redemption or direct credit?

    Cheers, Des.

After speaking to CPW loyalty dept on the phone and agreeing the 600 mins, 1000 txt & unlimited data bolt-on, £600 cash back and no phone, I called back the following day to accept the deal and was told that they could now only do £540 cash back!! Has anyone else experienced this or similar?

I got the £600 deal back in june, but now when I come to upgrade another contract max is £600!

Damn!!!!!! I don't like the idea of having to pay more for one contract than the other even though they are on the same tarriff!!!!

Said he could get £20 raised as a good will gesture from boss so making it £560 cashback!
  • I'm impressed. Not sure how they could have got it to you today if you only spoke with them last night. They use Royal Mail and after 1700 it's too late to post it.

It came by Citylink courier actually.

Any one got a good deal on a C902 or C905 recently?
  • I upgraded through cpw 4 my o2 upgrade. 600 mins unlimited txts (or so i was told and have it down in writing) and free bolt on for unlimited internet. After ringing o2 2 check they said they only had 500 txts down and not unlimited. I went bk 2 cpw 2day and explained i had not got what i had signed up for.The Csa said o2 were right and it should only b 500 txts not unlimited. I have said i did mt want 2 upgrade unless i got the unlimited txts.they said they wud look in to it and ring me.
my question is do they have 2 give me wot i was offered in the 1st place or not?
Thanks 4 ur opinons+help with this.

  • Are there any nice deals for £10 - 20 per month with a shiny new handset going? I currently have a Samsung D900 so it'd be nice to have something a bit newer, better camera, something like a Nokia 6500 slide. I worked out the figures for IPhone and whilst I can afford it, it really wouldn't offer value to me. I just don't use all those txt/mins.

Ideally I'd like 300 txts/100mins pm and pay about £15 with a new phone. Some data would be nice too so I could have a look at the news, Facebook etc.

PAYG is tempting me back right now but I'd have to pay for a handset.
