After speaking to CPW loyalty dept on the phone and agreeing the 600 mins, 1000 txt & unlimited data bolt-on, £600 cash back and no phone, I called back the following day to accept the deal and was told that they could now only do £540 cash back!! Has anyone else experienced this or similar?
  • Does it really matter? Whatever they say ain't always what they do anyway!

Yes same here! My friend got the deal you stated last friday 19th when it was ment to be the last day. When I started calling this week we from from £8 month now to works out at £5 month after cashback.
  • Has anybody seen any Terms and Conditions for this deal (and previous variants ie £600 chequeback)?

Just found out that O2CPW is a different thread than O2, hence repost here..

My contract is due to expire in Nov. Call to cancel straightway and was offered a deal as below:
    400min/1000text
    Unlimited web
    £30/18m
    Samsung i900

it looks not bad, though I can get same phone from vadafone at £35/18m with more min (600m/unlimited text/web) plus a bluetooth headset

Am thinking to accept it next Monday as with upgrade, I don't need to go through ordering, PAC etc if I change to Vodafone. However, i wasn't sure as I haven't seen anyone else post any deal with this phone, and would like to have some input on it.

    Any comments?

I don't recall anyone getting them without a push.

I've got them by email when I chased, both my renewal years. It's all part of the fun; if you want it easy, don't do cashback. :)

Ring CPW O2 retentions back and tell them you've seen this Vodafone deal. From experience they'll match or beat it. You've got nothing to lose ;)

cant be bothered with all the faffing - called back and got offered the £10pm 12m contract said no i wanted cheaper so got the 275 mins and 250 texts for £5 per month for 2 year contract. Excellent! :money:

still on only 75 mins per month! Anyone else had this problem..??
  • Gutted that I missed out on the 600mins / 1000 texts offer for £1.66 when it was offered to me a week or so ago - my own fault as I was faffing around trying to see if there were any better deals out there.

Oh well. Called tonight and was offered the following (which I took):
275 mins / 250 texts via redemption for £1 a month on an 18 month contract.

I have 7 days to change my mind, so if any of you can find a better deal, please post it on here. Otherwise all the t&c etc will be sent to me by post shortly.

Cheeky: in response to your question, I was told my new contract would come into effect from the date of my next monthly billing date. As I have just entered a new month, I need to wait another 20odd days before my new minutes etc begin. Hope that makes sense.

I have just found this thread and had posted on a different one too.
I have been offered the same deal as Hamster which I accepted. I am still waiting for the terms of the deal in writing. The guy told me that a different department deals with the letters and he has chased them. It has been a month now and i am still waiting. Is this just another con? I have had loads of problems with e2save and should have leant my lesson. The sales guy at cpw was so convincing and seemed genuine.
