Spoke to a number of people there over the last week - I wasn't interested in a new phone as v.happy with 6230i - but the offers didn't change. Found the staff really helpful. Got a 12 month contract with 11 months free (using cashback) at £40 a month - works out at £3.33 a month.

I am quite happy with cashback with cpw -never had a problem. 2 of the guys confirmed that they do not have a time limit on sending in bills now - he said it is quite possible to save all your bills and send them in at the end of the contract and get all your cashback. Or send 2 in at the same time (ie if you forget month 4, you could send it in with month 8, or indeed whenever) with no penalty.

He also said that sending in bill redemptions were finishing soon - in the future it will all be automatic (which kind of makes sense to me).

Hope this helps someone...oh and also if you want to call 02 at the cpw for free, it's 0800 049 0049, then press option 2,3,3,2 and then you're through to 02 (like dialling from your handset)

Yup - well sort of as you don't actually get anything because your contract is just renewed - so the sim you've got in your phone continues to work...I think that's what you meant?

    Hey MT

Interesting about the sending the cashback redemptions whenever. Personally on their website it states 60 days so I wouldn't take the chance JUST IN CASE.

Regarding the 0800 number, can you dial this from your handset as I tried it and got this message

"Access to the number you have dialed is NOT free of charge from mobile phones. Please redial without the first zero".

I thought 02 just took it out of your minutes?

I agree with you about the 60 days!

The 0800 number works from landlines - I didn't want to waste my minutes calling them from my mobile....

By the way another tip for anyone out there. The CPW outbound guy told me that "sometimes" they forget to put in the Redemption slips with the upgrades.

If you don't get one pop into your local CPW store and they will give you a hard copy or you can download a pdf version from their site.
