The problem with CPW is that they are reluctant to write their offers down in an email, and therefore I am suspicious that the contract will not happen as they describe it to me.
They tell me that the detail of the offer will all be presented to me in a letter and that if I then decide not to go ahead then I have fourteen days to refuse the offer.
I guess that means that if I refuse the offer when it arrives by letter that I will then have to somehow convey that refusal to them, ensuring that the 14 day timer is not breached, and then I will have to give a further 30 days notice to exit the current contract?
I am in exactly the same position
I'm coming to the end of my 12 months free cashback deal with e2save which I will give 10/10 for cashbacks
4 out of 5 received, 1 to go.
For renewals, e2save's offers aren't as good as CPW atm though
I haven't agreed to any new contract because I want to ensure there are no changes to my final bill of this contract. This will hopefully get me my final cashback cheque and make it 5 out of 5.
I have tried emailing and calling CPW but I cannot no matter what I do or say, get them to email me the details of the excellent contract on offer to me
I was told recently that the details would be posted out to me within 14 days once I agree to the contract.
They also say I shouldn't worry because if I find there is something I don't like about the contract, then I can cancel it within 14 days.
That's just cutting it a little too fine in my book. On that alone, just how can they get away with this??
I will contact them once my final bill is processed and see what I can do
I so want to have the guts to ask the person at retentions if they mind if I record the call.
Would love to hear from anyone who has done this0 -
Waiting for the final bill will already end up costing you (at the very least) an extra month and a few days additional line rental for which you won't get any cashback. Personally, anyone from this lot who won't confrim anything in writing is definitely not to be trusted.0

Yes, got to agree with this mj, and when u suggested ages ago i shouldnt trust them you were correct...They start your contract immediately, and therefore your bills change...Ive had endless problems trying to tell them i dont want a new contract until my final bill has been produced...My June bill shows change of contract, but they assure me(ha ha bloody ha) that my final bill will show my original contract, enabling my final e2save cashback to be paid....as for getting things in writing...Moses had more success.....in stone0 -

I think your contract will have started NOW....and theres no offers, these guys only get paid on results...so change your contract immediately.......or they did with me.0 -
Just phoned Cpw as my o2 contract finishes the end of the months, he was trying to flog me 600mins and 1000txt for £10Pm using existing handset.
I said that i wanted my pac as i dont use my phone much now as i had a work mobile too and he offered me 75mins and 125 txt for free.
so basically i get some free mins and text for nothing on my old handset, not sure how they make money out of that.
I presume they hope you are going to go over your allowance and then they charge you0 -
Please be aware NOT to agree to a upgrade until youre final bill is produced if you have a cashback claim,i have been told lies by cpw loyalty dept because the assistiant team leader told me on 19th june i could not cancel upgrade as new billing cycle had kicked in but they will raise my £80 cashback, when i received my bill it was printed on 21 june and billing for upgrade started on 23 june til 22july for month 1,had i had not been lied to by assistant manager the upgrade could have been delayed until after bill was printed!! also he told me to phone back when receiving bill to discuss him sorting my cashback, which ive done but he never calls me back i just get normal cs worker, spoke to cpw customer support today and they are aware that this person agreed to pay my cashback but are telling vme to send month 12 bill to e2save and when rejected ask loyalty to honour their promise, also manager in loyalty wants to hear the recorded message of me agreeing to the 2 year deal i was offered to make sure i was not told by person offering me the deal that my final cashback would be affected,i was NOT told this otherwise i would have waited, any advice by members welcome
I am having pretty much the same problems.....theres a lot of liars out there!!!0 -

Yes, you are correct. The two new contracts have indeed started already. My understanding was that the original two contracts would continue on until their natural end and then the two new contracts would kick-in. I have some written (email) detail from CPW about the detail of the new contracts. However, the detail is not sufficient and it is too ambiguous for me to feel comfortable. Therefore I have emailed CPW and telephoned them and instructed, within the 14 day cool-off period, that I do not want to have the new contracts.
I understood that there was a 14 day cool-off period. However, it is now July 8 and I made the agreement on July 3rd and as yet there is no paper evidence of the contract.
I'm really not happy agreeing contracts over the phone. I like things written down as it is so much easier to sort them out before you sign on the dotted line than it is afterwards. CPW promised me that full, written detail would be provided. I expect that any 14 day cool-off period will start as soon as I have seen written details, not as soon as I've had a conversation with them.0 -
I rang up today because my e2save contract ends soon. Pressed the option for PUK and cancellations, the guy asked me what deal I'd seen, I said I wanted to cut my expenditure down (from £45/month) while keeping my current phone. He asked what I wanted to cut it to, so I said about £5. Then he asked how many minutes I wanted, I said I'd heard of people getting 400 mins, he offered me 400 mins and 400 texts for 24 months at £5 straight away, saying he'd call after my final bill is generated so I don't lose any cahback from the original deal.
Since I've never gone over those allowances I'm gonna go for it, thought might ask for WAP when he rings back! I know it isn't money-saving, but getting cashback has proved such a hassle (though they've paid all of them since I followed the ts&c's properly) and this should be much simpler!0 -

Exact same as I was offered
Choice of free loyalty bolt ons was 200 mins, unlimited internet, or 600 off peak mins
They didn't say anything to me about the month 2 thing though0
