Can anyone help - when E2Save signed me up for my current contract the guy promised me £20.00 if I did it that day, which I did.
Ever since, he keeps saying it's 'on the system' but still no cheque. I called Customer services a week ago and they said it's not showing at all and they would look into it but still no news.
They said they would have to examine the calls etc to see what he said. But I even have texts from him promising the £20 is 'on it's way'.
Any suggestions?MFW #185

Can I ask how you went about calculating what was month 4 - i.e was it from the end of your old contract date, or the fourth bill received on the new contract?
And did you simply post them a copy of the relevant bill?
Thanks
The contract last year started in Feb and i sent them May, Sep and Jan bill - which worked.
So when i upgraded again in Feb of this year - i sent them May's and it paid. So i'll now send Sep and jan
And i sent them a covering letter with the bill0 -
Cheeky,
Neither compares, either in security or in convenience, to the advantages of negotiating an immediate upfront cashback or credit - despite the fact that they might be offering you more on a redemption deal.
Some fare alright with cashback redemptions but they do involve uncertainties and you have all the hassle of worrying about which bills to send and when, and what would happen in the event of a postal strike or you having to be somewhere else (abroad? in hospital? who knows?) when the vouchers and/or bills need to be submitted. You only have to read the threads in this forum to see how much can go wrong and how much grief it does cause when that happens.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

cheers - i did a redemption with e2save 2 years ago. I forgot one form so i know it is a pain... However, £180+ over a 18 months contact for sending in 4 bills is not to be sniffed at!0

Hi
Newbie but long term lurker (lost my original login) and moneysaver. Just had a call from OneStopPhoneShop as a contract I've had with them (400 mins 11 month line rental refund) is coming to an end. Straight off the bat he offered 18th months 400 mins 300 texts at net cost of £3.33 a month for my wife's phone. Was a very good start I thought. I've got an HTC touch and wanted the "unlimited" web bolt on and he offered me this for a net £7.22 a month with 600 mins and 400 texts. I tried budging him on dropping the number of minutes on the higher tariff to bring down the cost but he's not budged, I also tried getting him to add the Cloud WiFi bolt on in the same price but no movement there either. I've asked him to call me back on Monday.
Any suggestions as to what else I can try to get a better deal, apart from asking to be put through to disconnections. BTW I think the £3.33 a month for 18 months for 400 mins is a really good deal.

how does CPW cashback via redemption compare to e2save...? Dont want a load of grief!
Yes I am wondering this.....
Ive just phoned CPW to cancel my current contract(30 day notice) and was put through to "Loyalty"...after a while i was offered the same 11 months free on cash back(with CPW instead of E2save), or a sim only deal of £10 a month for 600 minutes and 1000texts....I am with E2Save and apart from the added expense of Special Delivery with consequential loss have had no bother, but lots of others are having bother....I'm just wondering if £10 a month will make my life easier, although £60 a year more... (after postage)
Are CPW likely as devious than E2save are becoming...He did (obviously) say they made things much easier to claim than E2save, with no loss of whole amount for missing one, 60 day window, Customer service that dont tell lies........but????
Addendum...Just phoned them back and now negotiated 800 minutes +1000 text sim only deal...but on 2 year contract(sim offer above was 2 year as well......) for the same £10 a month by direct debit.0 -
CPW and E2S are the same company0

been with cpw and o2 for 2 years now, contract is up in 6 weeks and i got a txt from them saying i qualify for an upgrade
ive had the same phone for 2 years, and am on a £30 a month contrct
firt 12 months were a 12 month cashback deal with the mobile outlet, and the 2nd 12 months were renewed on the basis that they gave me a £300 credit on my bill, so 10 months free for a 12 month deal
200 mins and 200 text
got a call from there upgrades dept before and they offered me an 18 month contract and 13 months free, 400 mins and 500 txts, where i had to claim it back thru sending my bills back, and i had to keep my phone, not really any good
then i said i wanted a new phone they offered me a ericsson k800i cybershot phone, 12 months contract, 12 months half price, £30 a month, but i said no and said i might even go with 3's £12 a month offer or a cashback deal as a new customer
a bit dissapointed they could give me a 12 month free deal with cashback, when other mobile comanies are doing it
need to wait and see if i get any better offer when i hand in my 30 day termination of the contract in 2 weeks
baronits only a bargain, if you need it or will use it.
