I can access the site but it says you need a print out.
Thanks to anyone that helps
Are you staying in London, if you are then try and see if you can get it printed at your Hotel or perhaps google a internet cafe on the way to the attraction and pop in, print the voucher then head off to the attraction.
Or chance you arm, show them the voucher on your iphone with your train tickets at the attraction ticket office and ask for the discount. Don't ask, don't get! what's the worse their going to say - 'No, sorry that not acceptable' which is the situation your in at the moment anyway.Whoa! hi
me n my mum are travelling by mega bus from liverpool to london tomorrow, we wanted to use the two for one vouchers, so on here it says if we buy a single ticket from vauxhall to london waterloo online we would be able to use the vouchers. is this correct and how do we pick up the train tickets if we are arriving into london victoria???0 -
Any railway station (with a ticket office) should sell you that ticket.0
-
To repeat - if you buy a Travelcard at a London train station it will be eligible for the offers. No need to specially buy a train ticket.0

Having used these the other week for various things, Tower Bridge, City Cruise boat etc. I wondered how they work. Do BR pay the people who offer the 2-4-1 the money we save by producing a rail ticket? I'd like to do Hampton Court since it is on my doorstep but I don't need a train ticket to get there.Paddle No 21 :wave:0

You maybe right to question an answer you receive on a forum, but to then ask on the same forum if the earlier answer is correct is perhaps not the best way to verify the earlier answer, is it?
If you want a definitive answer, forget about forums.
Look at the 2for1 website, where you will find...What kinds of train tickets are valid for this promotion? 2FOR1 and special offers/admission vouchers are available with almost ANY type of train tickets issued to London (or to the Attraction Destination) on normal 'paper' ticket stock (i.e. not electronic or 'smartcard' but for exceptions see below) and valid on the day you wish to the visit the attraction, theatre, or restaurant, e.g. National Rail issued tickets include Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak, Travelcard, Advance, Anytime, Season Tickets and various promotional travel tickets that may be issued from time to time, etc...
By way of recognition most 'paper' rail travel tickets show the Double-Arrow (or 'crows-foot') National Rail logo, then you're safe to assume it is valid. If you are unsure in any way please ask at your local staffed National Rail station....and how do we pick up the train tickets if we are arriving into london victoria???
I guess not, but anyway, Quentin has already answered that.0 -

Don't think it's BR, they haven't been around since privatisation, more than likely it's the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) and they either have a set contract with the attractions or give so much money for every 2for1 used.GibbsRule_No3 wrote: »I'd like to do Hampton Court since it is on my doorstep but I don't need a train ticket to get there.
If you planning on walking to Hampton Court then use the Vauxhall to Waterloo ticket as this is the cheapest option. If your planning on other visits which require you to use public transport then get a Travelcard as this will be better value, get the travelcard from a train station not an underground station, as it must have the crow's foot logo on the ticket.Whoa! Could well be the other way round - the 2 for 1 people could pay the rail company for publicising the offer. Its certainly not going to be the rail company paying for the free ticket. Most likely a shared advertising budget.
Tickets from Thames Ditton to Hampton Court would do it for you - cheaper than Vauxhall to Waterloo.0 -
Hi - I have a question that seems to be a grey area. The FAQs say that Oyster cards are not accepted but I do have an annual season ticket zone 1-2 oyster card which came with a Gold Record Card and has the national rail logo on it. I remember the guy saying something about offers when i renewed it. Does anyone know if this will be valid?
