Could you please clarify - can I buy a weekly London Travelcard for zones 1-4 and use it for claiming those offers from DaysOutGuide?
Yes - but it has to be bought at a National Rail ticket office.

In that case -should it only be purchased from National Rail Ticket office (don't know where's the closest one to Buckhurst Hill) and does it have the same fares as weekly Oyster card. Thanks.
Nearest station is probably Chingford - but it's in Zone 5. A Travelcard for the same zones for the same length of time will cost the same whereever you buy it.
  • Hi can a ticket be bought on the london overground and count ? eg surrey quays to canada water ?

Guuuuuuuuuuuys, I can't find any 2-for-1 vouchers for the London Eye - neither on NationalExpressEastAnglia.com/offers/london/london_2for1, nor on NationalExpress.com/coach/Offers/Discounts/London/index.aspx, nor on DaysOutGuide.co.uk/2for1-london... Practically nowhere!
Any info whether and when it's going to be back on offer?

The amount of money that thing makes they don't need to offer any offers to get the people on it. :(

But you could try contacting the Days out guide direct and ask them if they've got any plans to reintroduce the offer. Link to Contact us

But here's a 10% off discount if nothing comes of your email.

    Hello,

Is it possible to purchase travel cards in advance at (say) St. Pancras?

We are traveling to London by Bus (Victoria Coach Station), but staying in Docklands. Therefore, I would ordinarily purchase my tickets from the machine at Custom House (DLR) when leaving the hotel.

Ideally, I would like to purchase three days worth of tickets upon my arrival at St. Pancras. Does that make sense?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Stephen

Buy your Travelcards at the Victoria train station ticket office. You are probably going that way anyhow to get to the Tube.

You can ask for 3 days worth in one go but they might not give you them - in that case just buy them the day before you need them as you pass a train station

Thank you Alan, you're very kind. That's exactly what I wanted to know.

The day before would be perfect.

We have advance train tix from Bath to Paddington on a Saturday (these have the double arrows.) If upon arrival at Paddington, we then purchase 2 one way train tickets from Waterloo to London Bridge for Friday; do we then qualify for the promo from Saturday until Friday? If yes, are there ticket machines at Paddington where we can purchase these tickets?
This is a great forum. Thank you - Frank

The Advance tickets qualify you for the 2for1 deals, dates of the tickets been the validity; ie valid form the first advance single date to the return advance singles date.

But remember show the ticket to the man at the barriers at London Paddington, don't put the ticket in the barrier as it will get eaten.

Although it's not explicitly stated, the relevant part of the link that Livingthedream has posted seems to imply to me that the second advance single needs to be the reverse (return) of the journey to that on the outward single..... but I guess it's down to how individuals interpret it....

    It says....

"If for example you are buying single tickets, e.g.Advance tickets to London for a one-way journey on a Monday, and Advance tickets for departing London on a Friday you will be able to use the vouchers during the Monday-Friday period, provided you show both outward and return tickets (remember to tell the train company staff that you need to keep your outward tickets!)."
