2 FOR 1 London days out loophole

Does the day of travel (on the ticket) have to be the same day as the 2 for 1 offer is used? What if I travelled into London for a weeks holiday and had a return ticket and wanted to use the 2 for 1 offer on one of the non-travelling (inbetween) days. Would that be OK?0

Does it work if you buy a ticket to London but a return ticket to a different place?
For example
Thursday I travel from Cardiff to London
Friday I do attractions in London
Saturday I travel from London to cheapest place I can get a ticket to because I'm not really using it.
Will this work? Or does it have to be return to the same city or valid tickets every day?0 -

No need to actually travel anywhere (except of course to get to London if necessary).

Two quick questions which I can't find on the FAQs of the website
1. Can you pre-book for events (aside from theatre) eg The London Eye, The Tower, and still get a discount? Or is this simply not redeemable?
2. If you do the 241 is it 241 on adults prices ONLY as it seems to imply when you look at the venue information (it only lists the adult price) or can you get 241 on concession tickets too (we are students)
If anyone knows the answer to these I'd be very grateful!0 -

As previously mentioned in post #137.2. If you do the 241 is it 241 on adults prices ONLY as it seems to imply when you look at the venue information (it only lists the adult price) or can you get 241 on concession tickets too (we are students)3. One adult (or child) is admitted free of charge when accompanied by one adult who pays the full adult price, unless otherwise stated on the pages of 2for1entry.co.uk/daysoutguide.co.uk website. Other offers e.g. '% off' may apply as stated on the pages of 2for1entry.co.uk/daysoutguide.co.uk website. In the event of a full price and concessionary ticket being purchased together, the higher price ticket must be paid for. Conditions apply to specific attractions. Please refer at all times to the individual terms and conditions listed on this website.0 -
You are making it far too complicated.

Yes, I understand. I am travelling from Cardiff late Thursday night and want to see 2for1 attractions on BOTH friday and saturday. So my thought was that I need a train ticket showing I'm LEAVING london on saturday. This way I don't have to by train tickets for both days. I'd have my Cardiff->London showing I'm coming in. And my London->wherever showing I'm leaving. I just wasn't sure if the return ticket had to be back to the same place. Is that a safe assumption it doesn't have to be back to the same place or am I better off getting train tickets for both friday and saturday showing I arrived in London both of those days?0 -
Hi,
Just a quick question.
If I buy return ticket from/to Vauxhall to Waterloo with one week gap, would that be valid for one week ? (as it mentions in FAQs)0 -
