Hi, I am on Online Saver 10 and received the letter today.

According to EDF during the last 12 mths I used:-

    Electricity 2,116 Gas 18,465 Total 20,581
    Total costed at £895.60

Just a done comparison at energyhelpline.com and it came up Blue +Price Promise April 2014 will be expensive by £88 - lowest one is Scotish Power Online Energy Saver 20 which will be expensive by £83 so just £5 diffirent. I am write in saying that from 1st Oct the tariff will be changed. I will now be allowed to stay on Online Saver 10?

No, your current tariff is coming to an end and unless you switch to a new tariff you'll be automatically put on the standard variable tariff. What made you think you'll be allowed to stay on the Online Saver 10 tariff?

Received letter from EDF today, if I want to move from Fixed Saver Version 2 to Blue+Price promise I can apply now but the change over wil not happen until the Fixed Saver finshes on 30/09/12.

To do it online I have been given the web address: www.edfenergy.com/feelbetter

Can anyone tell me how long it took for the confirmation email to arrive after switching tariff using this link?

I signed up yesterday, but haven't had confirmation. Do you think I should do it again just to be sure?

    Mine arrived instantly.
I submitted the form twice as I have separate account numbers for gas/electricity, I only received one confirmation Email.

I have tried the link three times now.Phoned up earlies this evening and they have not received it.Was told if i changed now she would have to read the contract out and would take time, consequently i left it.It seems the only way to sign up for blue price promise from fixed s@ver 2 is over the phone for me.

I've just phoned EDF and they have confirmed that there will be no early exit fee if I leave the S@ver2 scheme now to go with another supplier. The terms say that an early termination charge will be applied to your electricity account should you change your tariff before 30th June 2012.
It looks like I'll be going with Scotish Power now as they are £75 a year cheaper than EDFs Blue+.
Now all I have to do is work out how to do it and get a cash back as well.

I spoke to a customer advisor this morning and she said she would find out why my on line applications were not going through.EDF haven't got a clue what they are doing,if i don't get sorted quick i am going to another provider.I have no confidence in this power provider at all. Still waiting for email from this morning.
