I don't know as I only have 1 account number for my dual fuel account. Is yours a Fixed Saver V2 account ? the link is only for that type of account as far as I know.0

Received letter from EDF today, if I want to move from Fixed Saver Version 2 to Blue+Price promise I can apply now but the change over wil not happen until the Fixed Saver finshes on 30/09/12.
To do it online I have been given the web address: www.edfenergy.com/feelbetter
Many thanks for this link. We've not yet received the letter yet (despite being in Fixed S@ver v2) but didn't want to miss the boat so have filled in the form to switch from 1st October. Just got the email confirmation through too.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
Has anyone had an answer to the "Two account number" question?
I also have separate account numbers for gas & electricity.
I'm tempted to fill the form in twice just to make sure but just wondering if anyone else has had any luck.0 -

I didn't see it as a question, I have both fuels and only one account number.
If you have two account numbers, that means separate contracts for gas and electricity, so no 'two fuel' discount? If so, I'd look to merge the accounts by phone first.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

No, some people did get two account numbers, seems to be something to do with when it was setup.
Both accounts appear under the same web login and I still get the "dual fuel" discount.0 -
i have signed up as of now despite asking if i could sign now and move onto it on the 1st oct.
i phoned back later the same day after reading here that i could delay the switch, only to be told the same again.
ok, we now know for certain that they were wrong so do i ask for a refund or to be switched back to v2 until oct 1st.
my yearly spend is £1100 just how much am i losing out here, one poster said £5, if its only that it is not really worth arguing over but none the less im not happy about it.

- I asked to switch now (in case the Blue Apr 2014 tariff was withdrawn before my fixed expired), was advised that the way it would work is that I'd be kept on s@ver V2 until 30 Sept then switched to Blue automatically;
HTH.
..........and I've just this minute spoken with customer services on 0808 101 4281 and been told (by 2 different operatives - don't ask, I had to ring 3 times altogether) that if I want to switch over the 'phone the new contract (& prices) would start immediately, NOT after 30 Sept when my V2 fix expires!!! Both absolutely adamant on that point.
According to the letter I have from EDF there is an on-line "simple" form method of switching which can be done now and will not be effective until after 30th, www.edfenergy.com/feelbetter
The problem I have with the form is that you must accept 'content which has not been delivered securely' - something I NEVER do ordinarily on my home PC. If you don't accept that then the 'submit' option is missing from the end of the form, making it completely pointless.
Left stuck between a rock and a hard place, switch now over the phone or accept unsecurely delivered content on-line. I'm cross and have emailed my comments to EDF. Over the 'phone, even when I explained my reasons for reluctance to use the on-line version of switching, they would not budge.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0
