Congratulations to all the losers and maintainers :T

I also don't have a canteen here at work but I'm rarely organised enough for lunches. I usually end up feeding my boss the same as what I eat but I walk the dog at lunchtime so time is short for 'food'. It's obviously okay if I've just been shopping (boss loves my salads) but as that 'shop' starts to run low I struggle.

For example - just before logging on I was starving. Absolutely nothing in but tins of mushy peas and beans but no potatoes :(

As I need to get weighed tonight I didn't want to slip up so I've cobbled together some scrappy toms, pickles and a small piece of cheese. I've already had an apple, yogurt and gruel today. Hope no one needs to speak with me later - I'm half way through a jar of pickled onions!!

Plus I can't stop singing songs for Oliver. I switch between

"if you don't mind having to do without then it's a fine life"

to (yep - you've probably already guessed)

    "FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD"

Enjoy your bath Victory, its a good way to split the day. How about giving yourself a few pamper sessions in the week to make time pass quicker? A face mask stops you being able to eat, as does a manicure and both are a good way to boost confidence and body image apparently.

A 2lb loss is great. Well done you.

just a quickie, school holidays are not good for diets, (or healthy eating plans)
Both DS's grounded which makes things even harder as oldest is also practicing teenage tantrums...
    Jo

You are so right jojilufc. School holidays should be banned.

How about trying to use DS's being there as an extra motivator? You could try cooking family meals together. After a day or so of being grounded my DS is bored enough to try anything! Supervising DS to make fruit salads and vegetable soup can take me a whole afternoon and if I am tempted to graze all the ready chopped veggies won't do much harm.
When DSs are allowed out again how about taking them off for a walk somewhere you wouldn't normally go and take a picnic? Excersise and no chance of snacking!

    Good luck to you!

Thanks... I actually did the face mask before for that reason:D and my nails for the same reason...no food:D

If things get really bad I always fall back on the face mask/nails/bath/drying hair all that takes time ....

On thursday I am having my hair cut and eyebrows done (H is paying now I have reached 2 1/2 stone) well actually he promised me some lingerie but says that he cannot go into the shop and ask for it so here have some money for it:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Had me :rotfl: though!!

I gained the 2.5lbs which I lost a few weeks ago. I havent been since so it was to be expected. Just back from the gym, and intend to have the 2.5lbs off by next week :o

I'm afraid that it was straight from my fingertips and into publication before I really gave it thought, but it was true and succinct, so I decided not to delete it :D I was sorry to read of your gain, this last 1/2 st is definitely proving tricky (someone else here mentioned this as well during the last couple of days, think it was play2day) but your:o and promise to lose it by next week saved you from the smacked bottom smiley :rotfl: but you have to remember that you are a chocoholic and :EasterBun looms this weekend, so I shall keep it on standby.

Well done again Victory :T a further 2lbs off. Hope you're now feeling a bit brighter and that the relaxing bath has worked it's magic. You'll do it.

I don't know the real name but I 'walk' on my bottom with my legs out straight and holding arms out in front, keeping your back straight. You sort of walk from one cheek to the other moving forward whilst stretching out with your hands. It's supposedly very good for your bottom and thighs - plus I find that it helps the tummy and arms too as you've to keep them taut to help you move. It's the best way I can describe it - hope it helps!

Thanks for this 1sttimer I found in the dim and distant past that floor excercises were excellent and I'd forgotten about them until I read your post. I used to do one that involved lying on the floor and rolling from side to side, and this seemed to break down the 'padding' ;) on my hip and it just seemed to disappear. If you know of any more please let us know :T

Good luck to those of you suffering from mid-term - I get used to a rhythm whilst H is at work and when he's on hols I get thrown out of kilter, then he goes back to work and I'm all out of kilter again

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
