Everyone seems so supportive. Am a definite comfort eater. Live with a very supportive partner but he is a naturally slim gym lover who isn't very keen on sweets, chocolate or puddings so obviously understanding is limited. Best friend is a size 10 who was back in her jeans days after giving birth and seems to live on a diet of pastries. Again very supportive but understanding limited.

Can only control weight through food as due to illness unable to exercise.

Look forward to reading posts and seeing how everyone is doing. Good luck to all.

Well done puddings, Lottyxx and to you TallGirl :) Good newss for you both, well done to the maintainers also.

For my sins I have put on 3lb  A little disappointed, was hoping it wouldnt be that much after my  and steak rugby weekend in Cardiff last week, but these things happen. Since coming back, I did hit the gym 6 out of the last 7 days and also played a full rugby match on Saturday hence the hope :o but maybe things will even out for next week.

End of the rugby season is always a difficult time for me, There is the tour to some location, this year is Weymouth  There is also the team night out  and the end of season presentation dinner  then its Easter this weekend :EasterBun it all adds up. I realise its a case of making a decision and living with it.

I am taking something away from last week though, I noticed my t shirts are looser fitting, which if great :T

    Have a great Monday

Reporting a 2 lb weight loss this week so I am a happy bunny today!:D :j
We had gone away for a few days but had our main meal at a Toby Carvery which is great for SW eating plan. I even had ice cream for dessert but counted the syns.
Rest of the time we had picnics with salad and sliced meat - I even brought my own salad dressing with me!

I really am feeling motivated today - our normal consultant is on holiday so we had a new one this morning. It is good to get a different consultant once in a while as you get a different sort of meeting which is motivating for me!

Good luck to everyone this week!

  • Hello
I joined slimming world last week and am struggling a bit. What do you all have as standby lunch foods?
I can usually make lunch the day before but today I'm in the office with kettle / microwave but no idea what to eat!! I'm having a green day today and don't like cous cous (altho may have to resort to it!).

    Thanks

    .

Same here some days as the arthritis does not let me walk but the other good days I try desperately hard to make up for it but cutting right back on the food has still given me a 4 lb or 3 lb per week weight loss so yes it would be a lot faster (time wise) to incorporate both but it still works as I am proof so no more food for you:rotfl: :rotfl: oh, alright then a little, very little:D

I'm probably a bit late for you now, but baked potato and baked beans can be done in the m'wave. Not the best baked potato in the world but it is hot and filling. Add loads of pepper or curry powder to the beans to make it 'last' in the mouth.

Good luck with your green days, they are my favourite..........
