OH MY GOD!
I can't seem to get my motivation back, i keep having bad days and say 'diet starts again tomorrow' But then I fall off the wagon again and say 'I'll start tomorrow'. ARRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH! I get so annoyed with myself!!!!!
Haven't weighed myself because I don't want to see the scales! Couldn't go to WW this week because of work, but they've changed the time of my usual class and now I can't go anyway! Another thing that's made my motivation slip!
I really really need to start eating well. I'm currently having treatment for a skin condition (Psorisis) so hopefully by the summer I'll have lovely clear skin and really want to be slim so I can finally wear what I want!
Phew - rant over! Ok, i'm going to weigh myself in the morning and post it - hopefully that'll give the kick up the back side I need!
I've been reading all the posts on here which has really helped to!lightbulb moment Jan 07 - DFW 417!debtwas£32k

mappy girl, i keep having weeks like that!!! and have found this site really supportive, dare i say it more supportive than rosemary conely class, i am behaving mostly but there are days were i just wanna eat all day! I think im abnormal do all women feel like this and they have willpower or am i a different genetic group?
i was nights yest and again mon and find it really hard, to keep the munchies at bay, are all nurses the same on nights? is that were nurses hips came from?
well im off now to play with the children as thats far more important than gym etc, tara catch you soon:A :j0 -
mappygirl I don't just fall off the wagon, it often runs me over. I know just how you feel. Some very good advice posted often on this thread by more experienced dieters when this happens is to 'start day one afresh tomorrow'... Wise words indeed... I just wish I could make it to day two!0

How did day 1 go for you today honey28?
Thanks for asking Play. It went....downhill at tea time, because I had some trifle and coffee cake after my dinner. Apart from that it was ok - ish. There are Easter eggs in my house, and being a chocoholic I'm finding it really hard. I'm trying to visualise the chocolate covered in hair and fluff - Victory, I think you told me to do that, so thanks, its starting to work.
MY NAME IS HONEY AND I'M A CHOCOHOLIC - there I've said it :rotfl:
Day one is really going to start tomorrow. I havent been shopping this week so there isnt a lot of choice when it come to lunch etc. I am off tomorrow (luckily for me so are all the schools in the area, including my kids  ) so I will do the weekly shopping. I have a wedding at the end of April and a hen weekend the floowing week so I really only have 3 weeks in which to lose some pounds. I WILL do it. :rolleyes:0 -
Welcome Dixie and Froggy - A lot of us on here are following SW. I have tried most plans and definately find this the most flexible and user friendly to follow. They do say that its for those with big appetites, I don't! but still find it easy to follow, I just lack motivation and willpower at times.
It might be an idea to log onto the slimming world website https://www.slimmingworld.co.uk and have a look at the 7 day plan on there, and perhaps buy the latest magazine as it always has a plan and recipes in it. If you have any questions just ask, there are lots of us following it so someone should be able to help. If you have a look back through the threads you will see posts by Consultant31, who is a SW consultant. (wonder how her holidays are going), her posts are always very informative and you will also find a lot of SW recipes on our other thread - you will find a link to it in my first post on this thread. Good Luck and keep with us!

Victory - What a motivational post! Thank you.
Honey - I can't resist the odd treat too. I find that if I try I will think to myself 'Oh, I will have this healthy apple instead' but all that happens there is I eat the apple, then more healthy stuff only to eventually give in to my craving. I find it is usually the first piece of chocolate that is the best so now instead of not having any I have the first square of a bar and immediately give the rest to the kids. Having a dog helps too, I can have one bite out of a biscuit and give her the rest! The chickens eat up any ceral or toast leftovers.
If you find yourself finishing off nibbles that the children leave on thier plates ask them to clear them away themselves when they are done and put the waste food straight into the bin (or dog and chickens in my home!)
Day 1 tomorrow. You will be great.
Thanks for the information on Slimming World. I am currently considering joining. I have a current BMI of just under 24 and weight loss is very slow and hard. Anything to kick me up the bum is worth considering!
BeanieLou - Resistance bands are in thier simplist form just large elastic bands that you pull apart and stretch your muscles as you do so. The 'elastic' provides resistance as you stretch building muscle tone. I did a quick google and the following link shows you what they basically are:
http://www.physio-line.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_Resistance_and_Exercise_Bands.html
And this one has links to workouts but i wouldn't emabark on anything without your physio's instruction and blessing. Ask her about them and se if she can provide some free to try.

I am going to go read my book upstairs now away from the temptation of the kitchen... Night all x0
