When does the 5lb challenge end?
I know its early May but need to know how long I have left to get rid of a bit more?????

Hi Rachel - I think it finishes at the next bank holiday, so in terms of the chart it will be Wednesday 9th.

Well Welcome to all these new people, whoever you are :) By way of introduction can I be so bold as to direct you to my story, some of the lovely ladies in here asked me very nicely to write it. I hope it is of some service.

Anyway the trade show was boring, I am back there at Olympia tomorrow, if any one wants to come say hellp :D I'll be the chap in the non logo'd white shirt. I actually had the Marketing Director try to tell me off yesterday for not wearing the required shirt. After I answered that if they would be so kind as to supply me a correctly sized shirt, I would be glad to wear it. I got the "Well Im not a slim bloke and one fits me" after imagining throwing him across the room, I politely replied, "well the shirt I am wearing is the same size as the shirt you suppiled that doesnt fit. Hardly my fault is it" He soon shut up.

Anyways back to today, I maintained, again  Well done to all you losers and maintainers, I havent really had a chance to read through the thread I am sorry.

Time to head to the gym, have a good evening all.

Hi everyone, once again I've not been able to read the threads so welcome to any newbies and well done to anyone who has lost or maintained.

Dreading weighing myself tonight as I thought it will be another maintained as I don't feel any different. Would be really disappointed if I have had 3 weeks of maintaining but I've lost 3lb

Hello and welcome to NekoZombie /wave - you can switch between this and DFW 'cos I see they started another new thread :D

Well done to all who lost or maintained :j and as always just stick with us all who gained (including me  ).

victory - a list? Such good and simple advise! In fact it's so good and simple I'd didn't give this idea a thought before. A full week is too far ahead for me to plan but planning a day or two in advance should certainly help me. That way I can ensure I have the ingredients or make time to shop for them. I have a fabulous Farm Shop at the bottom of the road which I should make better use of.

I got home from work today at 5.15 and didn't sit down until 6.45. I've made SW coleslaw, Tzatziki, SW onion bhajis (sp), sugar free jelly separated into three portions with mixed (tinned) fruit in them and a SW lemon merangue to try later this evening.

Shattered now!! Off for a shower before I sit down for the footie tonight

Hope everyone has a good evening.

I know i've asked this before, but i think the request got lost in all the DFW confusion, but if anyone can reccommed a good online calorie counter with sensible portion sizes i would be really grateful.

Hi Katmad - try this site - I don't count calories myself, but it appears to have what you need.
Feeling very dismayed that my loss will stay the same on the chart for yet another week. you all do so well it makes me look a bit pathetic!!

We don't all always do well - it just appears that way because people are more willing to shout about losses! I've been struggling for a while, losing a pound here, gaining a pound there, and lots of weeks of staying the same. It isn't easy, but don't give up, you're not pathetic at all.

It might be worth trying something different - different recipes, or a new activity, you never know, it might just do the trick! :)
