Consultant, I hope you have a great time in that funny little country, I recall a publicity stunt last week where a little piece of uk is been recognised as having its own area, so now they is China Town, Little Italy and wait for it 'Little Britain' I jest not!!

    http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/article2387814.ece

Now if someone finds the link to the Times Square webcam, shall we all watch out for a certain top consultant singing "New York, New York it's a wonderful place...." in her best Ethel Mermen voice :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

petrichor, how did you know your little butterfly was vicious? was it bearing her teeth at you? It had to be a female butterfly as that made it a madam butterfly :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Right back to work :)

Thanks for the cake recipe Victory.

I think I have done ok for the day, but still new to this:

    Breakfast : porridge
Lunch: Sundried tomato cibatta roll with a little cheese and lots of salad.
    Late afternoon: Handful of raisins.
Tea: Remainder of yesterday's quorn casserole and a chopped up banana covered with a youghurt.

Hi everyone (again!)- going in for induction tomorrow, and then will be back on here regularly again to try and lose weight. Suspect I could pose as slimmer of week after baby born!!!! I was very good, and "only" gained 20llbs over the 42 weeks, which I was very pleased about. Will check out all the recipes etc again towards end of April, as hoping to be able to bf, so that should help - although - I have to say I am gagging for a nice glass of wine, or a lager and lime (or two)!!!!
So Lois - please take me off the on hold list after your holiday - and after the 9th April I'll post a loss, and try and get back into this without having to go to classes, and save the money for extra spends on holiday in August.

Not had chance to read through all the threads so hello 36_28_2.gifeveryone
I've lost 1lb this week, a bit disappointed as I have been really good and done plenty of exercise thought I might of lost more. But at least I've lost so I should stop moaning :D

Well done to everyone else who has lost or maintained, and if you've gained its a new week to start again

Welcome 1sstimer of course you are very welcome, it is very nice to have new people, I wish you well for your weigh in/targer, I know you can get there....you will succeed:D

Welcome flis21.... I am going to Spain in July for the summer with my kids (used to live there so it is like going back home to me) that is one of the reasons I am doing this healthy eating plan....last year was in a black swimsuit and this year I am going to be in a bright green flourescent one:rotfl: :rotfl: (maybe just tourquoise then:D )

Yes Suggs ... I am very pleased with myself:D but everyone keeps telling me that is all well and good but then you have to maintain:eek: they keep telling me I have done the easy bit:rolleyes: (none of them have lived in my world for the last 3 months then:rotfl: :rotfl: )

  • Not been on much as I have hit a barrier I can't get passed 11st 1lb - in fact seem to move up and down between 11st 2lb and 11dt 4lb

I try as best as I can go for walks at lunch - homeade soup for lunch little wholemeal bread - apple orange as snacks and porridge for breakfast and weightwatchers type thing for tea - weekend I do have a couple of drinks Sat night and weekend treat but nothing major - feel like a real waste of space - will never fit in the dress for the wedding - daily excercise sit ups and stepper at nigh (only 10mins) after that my asthma gets up set :-(
