Ooh I've just been to pudding heaven!
Get a 400g tub of frozen raspberries (on offer £1 at tesco until the 27th). Mix a pint of sf jelly, pour it over the rasps and stick it all in the fridge until the fruit defrosts and the jelly's set.
When it's ready pour a rhubarb yoghurt over the top and top with three crushed mini meringues.
It's a HUGE pud, enough for two good portions (or one fat wap!) and the whole thing's less than 250 calories
That sounds lovely! I am going to make it today and try it out - I might even share with the rest of the family!:o
I was expecting a weight gain this week and was very pleased that I only put on 0.5 a pound! I will have to be extra good this week just in case last weeks excesses were delayed!:rotfl:e
Also had been away from the gym so went yesterday for the first time in a week - you can really notice the difference when you don't do it for awhile can't you?
We are going away again this week but only for 3 days and this time it is not all-inclusive so I won't be so greedy (Well if its free you HAVE to eat/drink it - I thinks its the law!):rotfl:
Good luck to all of you this week and may all of your salads taste like chocolate!!
MarionWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Katmad - Don't you worry, we're all here to listen and help when we can. I'm sure you'll look lovely at the wedding anyhow.
Puddings - Your pudding does sound wonderful, I'd heard that meringues were low in fat - maybe I'll try it with strawberries as well!
retired lady - thanks for the salad tastes like choc thing - I am actually off lettuce at the moment, cos' I found a caterpillar even though I had washed it well!!!
take care everyone bbxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

A Belated happy birthday to you Jojilufc :bdaycake:
Cardiff was great, a good weekend away, the healthy living has now restarted, but I drunk and ate enough over the weekend to feed the 5000. Wont go into detail but a 24oz Rib eye steak was involved!! As was the odd beer or twenty
Actually got home for 3pm yesterday, after a gentle 3 hour drive and was in the gym by 4! How sad is that, I was actually planning the afternoon, so I could get to the gym and be home before Mrs Suggs got home ( I think she missed me)
Well done to you losers, Tall Girl, I think the order of the boot for you as I said I am not weighing in this week, I dont wont to wind myself up by seeing what has been added, I will post next week, though Lois is away, Have a great time Lois.
Honey the March Challegne was my suggestion, 5lb by next weeks weigh-in, Then we can have a treat over Easter (if so desired :EasterBun ) and restart is week commencing 9th April? I did suggest the April challenge runs from April 9th till May 7th week (Early May Bank Holiday) But This again is only a suggestion and I am, as always, open to offers
Petrichor, please post what you do on your stepper what I do in the gym is what I do, I never intend to make other users feel bad way in anyway shape or form. I post to make me realise what levels I am doing, and to show people that I am trying my best, by the same token I love reading how other members are going, what they try and how they get on.
Right back to the coffee and wading through my emails.

Morning all,
Just reading your posts have given me the incentive to rejoin WW tomorrow morning, its only held across the road from me so no excuse! And as I'm feeling a bit more positive I will also start going to the gym again. Can't believe I haven't been for soooo long I was hooked before and used to go 5 times a week! Keep me positive with your posts you're all a fab inspiration! Does anyone on here live near Hemel Hempstead by the way?
P.s Does anyone know how I can change my user name please?0 -
Jmd - I think you need to re-register with a different user name and start again.
Katmad - big hugs to you, dont let things get to you. You fell off the wagon, you came on here and admitted it (which is the hard part) and now you have got up again. To quote a wise bird (aka consultant31) "if there was one bad flower in the vase you wouldnt throw the whole bunch out would you?" So don't let one or two bad days ruin your healthy eating plan. I agree with what IFAsaid about not thinking of this as a diet, because diets tend to end somewhere along the line - a healthy eating plan is for life. Stick with it, I've fallen on and off the wagon so many times I'm covered in bruises but I'm still here :rotfl:
Victory - Sarymaclary's idea of bringing something to the buffet is a great one. I would just bring it, rather than ask your SIL, then she won't have the opportunity to refuse! Famous fairy cakes - tell all!! Secret family recipeI looooovvvve fairy cakes!! lol
Lois - If you talk me through it I will try and do the chart for you next week if you like?
Suggs Sounds like you had a good weekend and that's the main thing. If everyone else is happy with the April challenge will we go with that?0 -
Honey 28
Thanks for that, watch out me to be known as Mumoftwins from now on!!0 -
Hi all it's been said before but I think it's worth repeating, get yourself a tape measure.
My weight loss has been on the slow side, but in the last month I've lost an inch all over. (Bust, waist, hips, thighs) and two inches off my upper armsso I must be doing something right.

Hi everyone!
Well i joined the weight loss thread a few weeks back now & i have to admit i fell off before i even really began:eek:
Anyway i'm back! It's pay day tomorrow & so i'm joining the gym. Think this will help me alot more! Especially when your going with your OH who may i just add is trying his hardest to do me in. (well maybe not but it feels like it!) He's much better than paying a personal trainer! I went with him last week as it was buddy week & i have to admit i enjoyed it:j
I'll let you know how thing's go on Monday. Hope you all have i good week! Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -

Can someone possibly please tell me what this great sounding dessert will be in POINTS on WW? How many points is it?
I have lost 3lb in the last 2 weeks,, am aiming for 2lb this week,, fingers crossed!!0 -
Can I ask you what the 2lb weight challenge is please and can I join?
My SW weigh in day is Monday and I maintained (still at 10st 3.5lb) I want to get to 9st 7lb - or thereabouts - as I'm only 5' 3" and that should be a good weight for me.
Do you have to just list your weight loss or what?
BTW this is my eating plan for today -
Branflakes with skimmed milk for breakfast with melon
cous-cous for dinner with HM carrot/bran muffin for afters,
tea tonight will be pasta with hm tom sauce.
I snack on fruit through the day, I plan to have a banana and an apple mid afternoon."It is always the best policy to speak the truth-unless, of course, you are an exceptionally good liar." - Jerome K Jerome0
