Thanks EL. This is confusing as it gives me yet another address. Can I just send all letters to registered address?

  • hi all, i waited the 28 days after my claim had been deemed served and went for judgement by default. had heared nothing so presumed i was ok but then on the website (mcol) it says refused and now i cant do anything further online. has anybody been in this situation with citicards? and what is my next move?
    halifax bank claimed £4803 (£5863.88 inc%) paid £6143.29 :j
    CapitalOne card claiming £478 (£609.18 inc%) paid £689.71 :j
    Citicards claiming £700 (£888.23 inc%)

halifax bank (account 2) claiming £543.15 (£564.09 inc%) put on hold due to OFT outcome
  • I'm looking for some advice before I get in touch with Citicard.

I requested a list of charges from them for the last 6 years and received my statements today from March 2004 only.

The letter says "The statements prior to this date are not available due to the account having a nil balance and a statement may not have been generated"

The account was opened in Jan 2001 so I'm missing 2 years statements. Surely they would have a record of these? Most of my charges were probably from this period. Should I write back and demand them?

    Thanks in advance
  • <bump> Has anyone else had this happen?

  • No. I sent away for my partners old statements a few weeks ago and they sent them back dated to February 2002.

This means that they will have entered a defence so you now need to wait until you hear from the court and/or Citicard.

Basically yes and tell them you will report to the Information Commissioner if they don't comply with your request.

Yes. My partner sent his letter off without a £10 cheque and Citi wrote back to him asking for £10.

    Hi,

Has anyone had any success claiming credit card charges back from Citi Bank. I have sent off the letter asking for refund of charges and PPI. Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them. they are certainly delaying in responding.
