    Hi All

I have just recieved money from Citi cards, they still owe £400 in charges. I have not signed anything to say that i will not take further action.

    Your advice would be great.

    Thanks

If this was a partial payment, you can write back and let them know you will pursue them through the court for the rest.

They said it was the amount was reduced with regards to the £12 that the OFT ruled.

The OFT didn't rule anything. They specified an amount (£12) at which they wouldn't take action against Credit Card companies.

I think take them to court at your peril. There is no guarantee that a court would find the £12 to be unreasonable.
  • Citi have been the worst credit card company I've been dealing with in relation to reclaiming charges. They are stretching the deadlines to the absolute limit and refusing to play ball when they do finally get in touch. I'm not going to let them beat me, I know I will win in the end....

Had a quick spy through this thread but can't find if anyone has had any dealings with Citi? Of all the cards I claiming on, they are the only ones I haven't heard a peep from, not even an acknowledgement of receiving my letters. I assume they are just playing at funny !!!!!!s, hoping I will go away. However, I will not be beaten....

On 3th July I got Judgement by Default on a claim with CITI :T . I requested immediate payment.

How long should I wait before I go to bailiffs?

    Any help greatly appreciated.
  • I think I will bump this up for others. My suspition(cannot spell that word) is that if you did that CITI may look to overturn the judgement by default. Is it a credit card or personal bank account?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
