Yep - and you will then get another long refusal:rolleyes: and you will then have to file at court where they are now passing it to Eversheds.

Hi i've been trying to claim my money back from Citi Cards from March 07, tried to do it using all the letters but no joy, they kept telling me it was in hand but i got feed up with all that. I could not afford to take them to court so i sent everything of to FOS in June 07, got a letter back from FOS at the start of December saying Citi would pay very near all the money that i had asked for but it would take 6 weeks for me to get my money, if i had not recieved it by then to get intouch with Citi Cards to see what was happening. Six weeks are up next week so it looks like there still dragging there feet to pay out.
    Who i'm taking on
RFS Ltd asked for £835.43 paid out £?

Citi Cards paid out £960, Halifax Cards paid out £200 Woolwich paid out £1000, Abbey paid out £3223, Ulster Bank paid out £4675, Sterling Credit paid out £100, Studio Cards paid out £264,Birmingham Midshires paid out £960.
  • Citi cards are naughty.I started a good while ago,but they seemed to ignore all my letters. stopped the direct debit to their DCA and they contacted me by letter. No sign of refund though.I have a grudge with this company, so when they did make me a full amount offer, I refused them, just to play them at their own game. They are now chasing me to accept the refund. The deal I am after is a reduction if I settle in full.they know this will clear the debt but won't play ball.I had a debt of £1500.00 they offered me 750,if they reduce the debt by 50% as they said for an early payment I'll be clear.

That is exactly the same situation that I am in. Stupidly I thought that the fight was over, looks like I'll be going back in the ring again

Just phoned Citi who informed me that my case is awaiting payment but unfortunately they have a backlog in printing the cheques (likely story!!!). They said that they would try and get my cheque speeded up and it should be with me in 7 days.
No doubt I'll be back on the phone to them again at the end of next week.
