Having heard nothing since mid Nov. when the 'Doorstep Collector' called with empty threats, found a letter sent mid Dec which I must have overlooked. Yet another work of fiction .....'We BELIEVE that Court Action is about to start......you can avoid this by paying us £121 now.....blah, blah, blah, Yet again I am totally ignoring these B****""S.

  • I've had similar letters and ignored them all.

They send something periodically, which is ignored

The irony is, had they asked for a reasonable charge in the first place I would have paid it, but £75 or something for an hours parking with no sign in sight :D having a laugh

Now they get nothing and spend money trying to get nothing

I've been getting letters from PS&P ltd for a few weeks (the same as the ones that are pictured here) relating to a CPP ticket I got in April 2011.
I've never responded to any of the letters from CPP or the ones that came on pink paper.

    Today I've received this:

    FORMAL NOTIFICATION

OUTSTANDING MONEY DUE TO Car Parking Partnership

We are about to pass your details to our DOORSTEP COLLECTION TEAM with instructions to collect the AMOUNT OUTSTANDING OF £116

As we would prefer to arrange a convenient time to collect te balance due, you shold contact our office on 0844 815 3667 to make the appropriate arrangements

SHOULD WE NOT HERE FROM YOU WE WILL HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO CALL AT A DATE AND TIME CONVENIENT TO US IN THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS

TO MAKE A PAYMENT USING YOUR CREDIT CARD blah blah blah

Sorry I havent the facility to upload a pic of it at present, but I've done bold/caps/underlining in all the same places.

I've no intention of paying, what worries me most is tat they may come when my elderly mum is home alone and con her into paying on my behalf - does anyone know if they will actally visit?
Just wanted to update you all. I've not had any "doorstep collectors" round (unless they came when I was out!), but I have had another letter.
The original penalty charge is more than a year ago, getting a bit bored now!

    Yes, it can be tedious.

Just remind yourself that if they had such a cast iron case against you, why on earth haven't they taken you to court yet, after a year??!!

Howard Jones (Director) PS&P Ltd has been around for some time in the debt industry in fact he appears to be an expert at avoiding paying debt if his past Director record is anything to go by. (10 Disolved Companies to his Record).

Well, if they're going to an old address, they won't find you there will they? Presumably the new residents will call the police to have them removed.

If they do eventually write to you at your new address, reply to them

'The debt is denied, return it to our client and don't contact me again. Any further contact will be considered harassment as covered by the Protection from Harassment Act 1999, and I will take action against you'.

Hi all, I too received this letter today. I have been disregarding the previous letters as people have advised but now with them threatening to visit my house, it's all become a bit more real. Anyone else had these letters or know if they stop shortly?

    Cheers

Go back to the start of the thread and read it through. You'll see that these letters are standard threatograms with no follow up. Continue to ignore.
