evening, not long got in from work so nothing exciting to report. just wanted to send huge (((hugs))) to Twink CCstar harduphester and Csarina and anyone else who needs one!
Tea is on the oven, cottage pie which we didn't get to eat last night and steamed veggies.
Work again tomorrow but hope to get to the carboot first as I'm not in till 11am.

Had a nice day out
Ate at Nandos in Dunfermline - just opened - can get some good deals with the unlimited frozen yoghurt and coke and you you can have as little or as much as you want foodwise. I don't like big portions so had a starter sized meal for lunch.
The only horrible thing today was a chavvy ticket giver outer by Silver Sands in Aberdour Fife - we used to sit by the beach in the car, we thought he wanted us to pay, so we turned around and he shouted 'oy' like the ned/chav he was - he looked at us like we were in the wrong, we don't do neds shouting 'oy' when we want to change our mind. So Fife council are kiljoys and employ rabid nutters to deal with the public, shame, the beach is lovely. I wish we could have run the little runt over!
It was a lovely sunny day and stopped off at the Old Manor Hotel, Lundin Links which overlooks the sea and so peaceful.
We had a phone call for another viewing tomorrow at 1pm - so all actionAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Evening all
The meeting at w*r* is over now, but the issue itself isn't finished. As I anticipated they are coming down on the side of the supervisor. In fact that was a done deal before I even got to put my side of the story and I was told as much though in different words. Ughhhh!!! There is more, but I can't say too much! I've got to go back on Monday, and I am not looking forward to it one little bit.
My Old Styling has taken a bit of a battering today, ie I haven't done any, lol. Well, I got rid of some packaging from the furniture which was delivered last week. You wouldn't believe how much cardboard and polystyrene etc etc there was - I couldn't get it all into the car, so will have to do another run next week some time as unfortunately the recycling place is shut tomorrow. I have also done a couple of loads of washing...woo hoo..am not going to be knocking Queenie's crown off just yet.
I think I will whip up a curry tonight and drown it and my sorrows with a bottle of wine.
Have a lovely evening everyone.

PoshPaws - do you have a recipe for the spiced sweet pastry? It sounds scrummy
My day didn't go to plan at all! Went into town in the morning, got everything done but it took 3 times longer then I thought it would...and we ate lunch out :O Oh, I know why - when we got into town OH revealed that both his boots and trainers have got holes in them so we had to go traipsing round looking for shoes!
Was really quite warm here today, so after that I said sod the housework and OH and I went skating on the Hoe, then came back and had a read on the balcony followed by an afternoon nap. Had a really nice day, even if I did get a little sunkissed.
Now I'm just about to finish off my menu plan and shopping list, might pop to the 24 hour Tesco later.
Hope you all had a good day.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
DD(18) has just gone off to a party.
DD(13) is back from a sleepover and DD(21) comes home from uni tomorrow when we drive up to collect her.
Had pasta for tea and just browsing round on here.
Very odd funeral yesterday. The service before us was for a "Wild West club"
member - but we did not know this so wondered why we saw somebody dressed liked Wyatt Earp! then another few people walked past also with stetsons, frock coats etc etc.
Our service was not the traditional one we had expected -with songs like "morning has broken" and "all things bright and beautiiful" and a sermon which compared the deceased to a "cracked pot" .
Presumably to show beauty and usefulness in all - but as the person concerned was a bit of an inventor - most of the people there misheard it as "crackpot" and DH had a dreadful job to keep from bursting out laughing.
Went to Saltburn for fish and chips afterwards and eat them overlooking the sea at high tide.
With three funerals in nine months - it would be nice to think we - and everyone else could have a bit of respite."This site is addictive!"

Hi again.
Well I've been quite busy after all. I made 2 loaves in my bm, did a menu plan for the week, wrote a shopping list and I made welshcakes for the first time and they were gorgeous, especially with butter on! :j

ccstar we must live quite close. agree with the car park at aberdour - I refuse to go there when the man is there charging. I pay enough council tax to not pay for the pleasure of parking there in the summer.
the old manor is lovely. my friend had her wedding there....stunning views.x x x0 -
hugs snowy we are all on your side xx0

I was really annoyed they charged for the parking in Lulworth Cove in Dorset - we refused to stop.
