  • Morning Guys!

Feeling much better this morning:D OH made a lovely breakfast of Omelette which we shared in bed. DD is at friends so we had a peaceful quiet evening and she's not back till about 5;)

WM is on, DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned. House is clean and tidy.

Have friends coming over for dinner later, but am just doing a buffet with baked spuds, chilli, salad etc. Should be nice and simple to do, really should put them off, but I need the adult company. He wants to pick my brain about his business later, so that should be a laugh....I told him months ago what he should be doing....but did he listen....NO...typical men:rotfl: I think we will go back to the original plan....simplicity works best...especially in his case:p He must have lost some serious money.

My SIL won back her bank charges yesterday 2.5k. It has taken months but I have done all the leg work. She is giving me a cash gift but probably wont be much...never mind! Glad she's got it back but she hasnt learnt her lesson...she's nearly 10 years older than me.

Anyway, Id best go. Hugs to all.

    PP
    xx

  • I'm still here:o Luckily I found my pin number for the library - so I've just renewed the books - it's one hell of a trek to our library and I don't drive - so DH can do it next weekend ;)

Snowy - good luck - I'll be thinking of you

Now I'm trying to decide whether to have a sausage and egg sandwich for brekkie  Shall I be good or not :p
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Good morning everyone. I've been up for a bit, doing the puzzles in the Guardian, but must go and get something done now ;)

Isn't Llandudno pretty  Don't know north Wales at all, though my sister lives in Tenby.

DD is sleeping out then going into Doncaster on the bus shopping. Donny-gal, if you see a gaggle of girls do not approach    they may be dangerous :D DH has taken DS swimming then to the semi-final of the football cup. It's much further than we've ever got before, so everything crossed, please :j

I approached my bank yesterday to claim a refund for *mortgage redemption* fees that had increased substantially since we took it out.

Off to clean my bathrooms, then hoping to get into the garden again.

Twink - haven't read what happened yesterday, so 36_2_80.giffor you, and everyone else.

Have a Super Saturday, Penny. x

    Good morning everyone,

Had a lovely lie in this morning - up at 8.30!!!!! Just having my first cuppa and a browse, might even have some breakie in a minute.

Not much planned for today, after DSs footie was cancelled last night, which is a shame because it is a lovely day outside. We will need milk at some point over the weekend, and although i have most of the easter eggs i need, i still have a few to get (one needs to be by next Friday as thats one of my LOs last days before easter). Still havnt decided if we will do that today or tomorrow.

Snowy - good luck with the wardrobe man, and at work this afternoon, i do hope things will be ok for you xxx

((HUGS)) to anyone who wants/needs one!!!!

    Have a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi

    Just a quickie

Off out in the sunshine later.

I can't believe how stupid some people can be tho', just got another slating on the 'tether' thread.

I am sick of people judging my parenting - and too thick to see what I am doing. I can't be bothered to talk to such idiots. He is free to do what he likes after today.

I am not even going to discuss with anyone else either - I have other things to think about and tough if you don't like my parenting styles!

All I can say is I can see why there is so much debt and money troubles being spoken about on this board.

I don't have much sympathy now - apart from the people who are really are in unavoidable situations.

Sorry to sound harsh but my patience has been exceeded it's limit! And I am grumpy in the mornings too!:D
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

Morning all ... well at least I now know why Johnny Depp didn't come home for his tea last night ... don't worry ladies I don't mind sharing him out every now and then - he quite wears me out sometimes :D 10yo dd came home from the school book club last week with a huuuuuuge poster of Pirate Johnny Depp for me and now I just have to figure out where to put him.
Not much on today except for boring things like sorting out my sewing corner  and finishing some christmas presents - no I'm not super organised but am going to my dbros next week with his family's pressies from last year. I made scarves and bags for the girls and just need to sew in ends and press hems etc. I bought a pattern each for me and dd for summer clothes but I think I'll be feeling to guilty about all the unfinished stuff I find to even think about that. I may go to the market tomorrow though and buy some fabric then me and dd can have matching outfits - how twee!
I also have some triffids - I mean seedlings - to plant out today so I hope it stays as nice as it is now
have a good day all :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
