How many children?....
Comments
-
Just wondered how many children people have.
One four year old and one on the way.
I'm really looking forward to my son having a new sibling (although I might live to regret saying that!) If, for any reason, another child hadn't been possible, I would have been quite happy with my luck, having been blessed with a loving, healthy little boy.
Don't feel pressurised by other people's expectations. You've got to make your own lifestyle and personal choices. If you're happy as a family unit and don't want any more children, then that's obviously what's meant to be.0 -
None of my own by choice, now made permanent. DH has a boy and a girl from his first marriage.I am not stubborn. I am merely correct.0

Me too, although it's 2 girls from my OH 1st marriage.None of my own by choice, now made permanent. DH has a boy and a girl from his first marriage.
I have NO desire to have any of my own. Why would I? All the hard work is done, no dirty nappies, no sleepless nights. Just because I don't want a child of my own, who is to judge me? I will do anything for the2 girls and they know that. Nuff said
Fed up with people asking me when are you and xxx going to have one of your own  That's our business!!!0 -
My last girlfriend had two children and the new one has just the one.
I might get round to having some but to be honest I cant really be bothered to give up my fun, spare cash and sleep.0 -

You could reply 'Are you enquiring because you want to be present at the conception?' I've used that line before, or if they've really annoyed me, I've said 'I'll tell you once you let me see your bank statements, given that you think we're on such intimate terms.'I am not stubborn. I am merely correct.0 -
I have four children, and had them all within 5 years.
We had always wished for and planned for four, and were fortunate to have them.
We were always receiving comments, especially when I announced I was pregnant for the last child. Things like....ohhh was it an accident etc. etc....well if it was it is no one elses bloomin business.
My mother in law actually said when we went around to tell her about the pregnancy "well you should of been more careful"
Guess either way you'll always receive peoples comments0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Really must remember that one0 -
I have 5, all planned and if circumstances had been right I would have had more, everyone is entitled to their choice whether it be 1 child or a dozen. My eldest daughter has 2 and is happy with that, my second daughter has 1, would like another but isn;t with the right person. My youngest son has 1 and another due August, he and his girlfriend plan on having 4, like I said everyone's different.Paid off so far Natwest overdraft £1900 Kays catalogue £200 Personal Loan £2500 Tax Credit £1300 J D Williams

I have 4 lovely children, they are great but money has been so tight for us since we had them...and that's without buying luxuries/buying much new/having any holidays abroad.
The only comment I seem to get is that people ask why we didn't stop at 2 when we had a boy and a girl (we then went on to have 2 more boys)! I think it's a weird question as I come from a family with 3 kids and never felt like I would stop at two....OH did though as he's from a family with 2 kids....but as usual the lady of the house gets the last word.....;)PRIVATE 'PCN'? Just then one, I would have loved another but it never happened, and we were very happy with the one we got first time anyways-I would have been a lot sadder if I was given a little monster instead of a wee angel:A
I count my blessings, and of course we can afford to put her through uni if she wants, without worrying about five others to do aswell like my dh's parents had!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
