It was the same until I installed the new ATI drivers or Catalyst Control Center which was mentioned earlier in this topic.

Install that and it might up the score...

Im trying to insert memory stick duo in my ins 1501 but it looks like laptop is not compatible with it?does any1 have any idea?

Theres a known problem with at least some of them. If you close the lid whilst on, they'll go into hibernate mode .. and chances are they'll then have to be reset to get them working again. Normally you'd just have to press the power button lightly to return to the desktop. The fix for this is to download the very latest catalyst driver from amd's site (not ati's) - The ati site won't allow you to download it for some wierd reason !
Once installed you'll end up with another problem - A sonic driver is incompatible with vista .. This is actually the drag and drop part of the roxio suite that comes pre-installed ... uninstall this from the control panel and bobs your uncle.

What bit edition Vista have we got with these systems please? Im now going to download that driver and hope i then get a new higher reading.
Also what driver version does it say you have now robrymond? I just done a search from my device manager for updated drivers and it says it using the latest driver!!

You should be looking for the 32bit version ... Thats what was on the 2 I got ...

I had a doctors appointment this morning, and managed to get to the doctors and back within 20 minutes.

The delivery came 2 minutes after i'd left - doh

I'm now going to have to wait in tomorrow, as the number that is provided on the Business Post Missed Delivery card doesnt work
