Everything went well today. The place was packed with people to say goodbye, the readings were really heartfelt and special with everyone nodding along in agreement about what a special person he was, and as the curtain closed we swayed along to the sound of Frank Sinatra singing fly me to the moon backed by Count Basie. Perfect and if he had have been there he would have smiled along.
Grandchildren and cousins sought me out to thank me and it was good to meet all these people that I had only heard about. A very sad but also a happy celebration of a good friends wonderful life- no better way to go.

My condolences to you Jim. You were a true and loyal companion to Reg, and like a previous poster has said, your kindness will come back to you.

Sounds like a perfect send off Jim. l love the photo, Reg looked like he was a kind and gentle person - just like you are, you were destined to be friends.
