Hi everyone,
Ive read a lot and i understand (i hope) what i can claim for, BUT...if i am charged £35 for something how come i get to claim it ALL back and not £35 less the true administation fee of £4.50. how is it legal to claim it all back and not £30.50??
Does that make sense?
Many thanks fellow MoneySavers0 -

Kudox I have not said that you cannot claim them back, but merely that I think that you can ask the bank to explain the charges and they should be able to do so, which means YOU can CLAIM charges back.
Hi KUDOX here ! I really do appreciate your help, and will endeavour to pursue the claim, it sounds childishly weak in saying, I wish Martin could take over, as it seems so simple when explained on TV, but every case is individual with respect to certain BANKS and account types and conditions,so it is impossible just to generalise I do understand this, but the principal is still the same which is injustice and deliberate exploitation. I have just been made redundant, and have not been focused on my Bank charges issue over the last couple of weeks, never the less, once more THANK YOU for whatever help you can provide :A0 -

Hi there,
I've recently received my last 6 years statements through the post (yesterday actually, woohoo!)... but before I go through them and highlight all of what appear to be my bank charges, can anybody tell me what exactly I should be looking for?
There are some that are marked "paid referral 1 @ £20.00", are these reclaimable overdraft charges?
Sorry, I'm quite new to this and not very good with finances.
Thanks in advance!!!0 -
