    I think what princesskez26 is saying in her standard reply is YES YOU CAN!

    And don't be fobbed off with them telling you its a fair fee as its under £12, its unlawful. Don't accept any offer less than 80% of your claim, as the actual cost of administering a repetitive daily charge is far less than £1.60 because its automated, and if you go the court route don't forget to add interest!

    :D
    Got It & Spent It :dance:
    IKEA CARD = £120 charges = £175 received (146%)
    MARBLES = £450 charges = £370 received (82%)
    I.F. = £494 charges = £494 received (100%)
    CAPITAL ONE = £981 charges = £1,489.03 (152%)
    BARCLAYCARD = £580 charges = £786.12 (136%)
    On Hold :mad:
    A+L = £722 charges (target = 147%)
    BARCLAYS = £1,405 charges (target = 128%)
    BARCLAYS = £175 charges (target = 140%)
    ABBEY = £3,220 charges (target = 148%)
  • Firstly, congratulations on recaiming your money. i need some help and was hoping you could help me.I have just started the process of reclaiming my business bank charges from Barclays. • Hi I am new to all of this and I am looking to claim back the charges from my bank account.

    I have read the list of what can and can't be claimed but I am not clear if I am able to claim for charges incurred after a payment has been authorised despite not having enough funds in the account.

    Please help !

    Many thanks !
  • If it is card misuse, or guaranteed card payment fee then the answer is YES, providing the bank has charged you for making the payment. If the have simply debited your account with the amount that you paid in the shop then NO.

    What are the fees you get charged for using your overdraft? If they are only interest, no, you cannot claim that. You can claim (penalty) charges for exceeding your agreed overdraft or for bounced cheques or DD. Did you have any of those?

    You cannot claim the monthly fees for the Gold account. It’s a service charge for certain benefits that come with the account. You can downgrade it to a standard account.
  • Can anyone tell me if i am able to get back the charge for having a bankers draft done. It was only £10 but i would rather have it than let hsbc.
    Thanks in advance.
