Hello Lozbingley, I was just get a bit confused, because, Captial one are saying I still own them about £1100. I have already paid about £900, but still own them this £1100, I had a credit limit of £200 to start with, I had a look at Martins Calculator, and worked it out that it was about £1100 (this needs to be double checked by me ),that was due in late payments and over Limit charges, (£20 each)so I am guessing ! I claim for the £1100, I am just getting confused as I haven't as yet pay £1100 only £900. if I am on the right track, I should get £600/£700 back (taking the interest off, that they have charge me) and the £1100 wipe of??? does that sound right?..... still a bit confused......Lilly....

Has Martin's calculator said it was £1100 before Interest or After?
You should get the difference between what the calculator said and the amount you owe.
If you owe more than the total charges (and interest) then it will just reduce what you owe. IF the charges (and interest) are more than what you owe you will get money back!BUT in this case they will try to tell you that the charges are lawful and offer you far less than what you ask for. YOU MUST STICK TO YOUR GUNS! You know you are right and they are wrong! TAKE THEM FOR EVERY PENNY and don't get fobbed off with anyhthing less than 85% offers! Hold out for interest too as if you have to go to court your will be awarded 8%
Got It & Spent It :dance:IKEA CARD = £120 charges = £175 received (146%)MARBLES = £450 charges = £370 received (82%)I.F. = £494 charges = £494 received (100%)CAPITAL ONE = £981 charges = £1,489.03 (152%)BARCLAYCARD = £580 charges = £786.12 (136%)On Hold :mad:A+L = £722 charges (target = 147%)BARCLAYS = £1,405 charges (target = 128%)BARCLAYS = £175 charges (target = 140%)ABBEY = £3,220 charges (target = 148%)0 -

No to debit interest unless it is caused purely by bank charges and I have no idea what Debit under advice is, phone the bank!0

Hi guys,I have just recieved my statements from Clydesdale bank for the 6 years in the post this morning, iv looked thru them and theres some things i dont understand, iv looked at the threads on which fees to reclaim, but cant find it on this forum. At the side of the statement it gives you an example : DD=direct debit. OD= overdrawn. SO= standing order etc.... well, i have one thats not in the examples saying......SC and in the description column it says " period to 30 sep" and in debits column its £25. There are quite a number of these 'SC's' rannging from £22.50 to £25Does anyone know what SC means and can i reclaim it??Also.... can i reclaim a "Fee-recalled S/O" ?Also.... can i reclaim an "arrangement fee", iv no idea what this is!Also.... "a fee as advised".. theres nothing to say on statement what this is.If anyone can give me some help i'd really appreciate it :)Many thanksFiona0
