Progress so far:
Received full statements from A & L
List of charges from IF
List of Charges from Abbey National Credit Card.
Now I have got myself confused, I think I have read too much now!!
What charges can I claim back? Does it have to be over a certain amount for each charge etc.
For instance on my Abbey Credit card I was charged 12.00 late paying fee can I claim this back?
Am I right in saying that I now have to add up my charges and send out the second letter asking for full refund.
Do I add the interest of 8%
Sorry for all the questions
Thanks0 -

I am in the process of helping my husband claim back substantial charges against Lloyds TSB. They rather annoyingly sent us statements, but managed to miss out 2005 completely so they may have another 40 days to make us wait!!
In the interim, I am calculating the amount he could claim back. He has a lot of entries for "overdraft interest" and I am unsure as to whether he can claim this back or not.
I would be very grateful for any advice, and if anyone has claimed overdraft interest from Lloyds, would love to hear from you!
With many thanks0 -

Just to confirm what has already been said. No you can't claim back interest that they have charged.

My bank used to charge your quartely fees if you went overdrawn, this was fees for using your switch, cheques, dd's etc. They now charge a referrel fee. Can you reclaim the quarterly charges??

Hello, I have got stuck already?? please help...I have my 6 years of statements, so I need to work out how much I can claim for, lets say I own them according to their monthly statments £1000, I have already paid them (including interest) about £900, on a credit card of £200..so...does that mean I can claim about £700, less the interest. If I win and get back the £700,(less the interest) what happens to the different between the £700 and the £1000 they said I own, as I haven't paid the different, have I.? so will it just be written of, the differents?.....sorry, but I don't seem to be able to find any threads about it.....but really just want to make sure I do it right........a very confused......Lilly0
